I am rewatching DN and was wondering is it better dubbed or subbed???

I haven't seen it subbed. The dub is great, though. If you're rewatching it, you might as well try the other language of what you originally watched.

I watched in subbed first because dubs are usually hit or miss so I'm used to that now and it sounds great. Ive heard a few parts in dubbed and L's voice just sounds too normal for me.

I watched it in dub. Once, the video auto'd in sub for me instead of dub, and I had liked the dub so much, the sub just didn't do it for me. I prefer the dub.

I don't get that either, bro. Flanagan's voice works great for Naruto, same for Liam O'Brien's in Gaara's case. Still, it's a shōnen anime, so there are lots of voice that do suck.


OT: I saw the dub, and to be honest, I can't even attempt to watch it subbed now. It's just too good to watch the other way (except for Misa's voice, perhaps). Brad Swaile's Light is just amazing and I can't even begin to describe how well Alessandro Juliani nailed L's personality. Easily 100x better than his original voice (which I did see a clip of).

Mamoru Miyano's performance as Yagami Light is one of the best feats of voice acting. Those who claim the dub is better obviously haven't seen it subbed.

Or we have, but we just think the dub is better or we like it more. No knock to the sub, but some people just like the dub more.
