it was a nice twist when L died.. if the show ended when L died it would have been way better rather then extending it 10 eps more

Yeah that's what I meant, L and Light where the two main pillars of the story, I'd rather see Light become god of the new world than get killed by Ryuk instead of what really happened

Dude I know you probably just watched Death Note, so you probably think it's greatest of all time, but Code Geass is way better. :|

I saw Death Note a while back and I've watched Code Geass too, both are good but I still like Death Note more.
