Morning.6 a.m.September.Friday
A warm voice whispers and breaks the silence as morning light slowly shines through the room
"Eru wake up" thats all that this voice had to say. A young man around 17 years old, with black hair and black eyes that somehow were devouring the light of the room with their angry glare. The boy closes his eyes for a moment and then heads downstairs.
"Eru, you ll miss the bus..." said the soft voice that was coming from a middle aged woman. She looked worried, like she knew that something was about to happen, her eyes portrayed fear perfectly.
"Right" that was the only reply he could think of.
He stepped outside the house. he slowly walked towards a bus station. He sat on a chair and calmly waited. He closed his eyes for a moment. The sound of an approaching car interupted his thoughts. It was the school bus. the door opened and he entered.
"omg school is such a drug" "thank god its friday"
such were the only sentences that were spoken all around him.
the bus had finally arrived at school. he entered the old clasroom and sat in the last desk as he always did. "Eru Ynest?" asked a voice that was obviously searching for him. Eru simply raised his hand. "The headmaster wants to see you at once"
he rose and left the clasroom. He calmly knocked the door three times. "come in" was the reply of a strict voice.
"Are you Eru Ynest?"
"Correct"
"please sit down i want to talk to you" and so he does, "two days ago your literature teacher gave you an assignment for homework. The topic was: do you think that the actions taken by KIRA until two years ago were right or wrong?"
"so?"
"all of the students answered with a clean-cut wrong..." hi eyes stare at Eru "except from you..."
"hmmm..."
"i think that our school...and believe me as a headmaster i know what i am saying...teaches that justice is something that should be passed down from those who are responsible for it: judges, lawyers etc. it also teaches that freedom and safety are rights wich all people should have...do you disagree with what i am saying sir?"
"you asked me for my honest opinion and i gave it to you, you see unlike the rest that just wrote a clean cut wrong to get a good grade i decided not to follow your brainwashing system"
"such arrogance!! you are suspended from school for two days and bring your parent with you next time! this is a very important matter!!"
and so he left without saying a word.
"so now expressing your opinion is something that you must bring your parent to school. fools. this world screams for help. we are so concerned about what kind of world we will give to the next generations that we have forgoten what kind of next generations we will give to this world. I remember a quote from a movie saying: "what happened to us? that we now send our children to the world like we send young men to war-hoping for their safe return" and it is right, this world is in chaos
in the shinigami realm.
"unbelievable!! this guy thinks just...just like me!!"
"hahahaha...too bad for you raito cause he is gonna die today" eats an apple.
"i wont let that happen ryuk"

"i am gonna save him and as a dying action i will give him the notebook"
"i knew it!! even as a shinigami you are interesting!! alright then i ll drop a notbook as well, after all i am bored"
