Let's play a Death Note game tonight. This is my first time running a Death Note game but I hope we all have a good game!
HOW TO PLAY:
The goal of the game depends heavily on the title you are assigned, here are the types of player you may be assigned to:
1. Police: The Police are the protagonists of the game. Their job is to catch Kira. Police operate during the Day Phase only. Police catch Kira by voting to execute a player.
2. Kira: Kira is the antagonist of the game. Kira’s job is to kill the Police, Shinigami, and L. Kira kills his opponents by private messaging the moderator their target during Night Phase. Kira is also allowed to vote in executions therefor they operate during Night at Day Phase.
3. Shinigami: The Shinigami is a special supporting role for the Police. Shinigami are allowed to ask the moderator who one person’s role during the Night Phase. Shinigami are also allowed to vote during executions.
Day Phase :
Players use Day Phase to discuss who they believe is Kira
Once discussion is over, players will go on to vote in the execution
The player who receives the most amount of votes against them will be executed
After the player is executed, their role will be revealed
Night Phase :
Night Phase is only used by the Kira and the Shinigami
Police are not allowed to talk during Night Phase but they can PM each other
Once the Kira and the Shinigami submit their selections for their abilities to the moderator, Night Phase will end
How to win:
The Police and their supporting roles win once they kill Kira during an execution
Kira wins once he has killed all but two of the Police or supporting roles
