Something like this is exactly what i would've preferred! A couple more episodes and it could have been the perfect anime.

The ending sucked. Light would of have won if it weren't for plot/Editors U_U

Played out exactly as it should have, with Light suffering the ultimate defeat. The only thing that could've made it better was if L had been the one to bring him down.

And you guys do know that the alternate ending is fan-made, right? Just ensuring everyone knows that.
