I like Minato but I'm not a fan. Only Kunai to use ftg? lols he uses seals to which he can place on any target he puts his hands on without them noticing until their hit.

That's if the itachi he lays his hands on is not an exploding clone, or an illusion

Yup, just look at the way minato fought obito, if it was itachi, he would have KO'ed minato with genjutsu, minato was fighting obito head on despite knowing he's an uchiha, and some peeps think he does'nt get manhandled by itachi's genjutsu (genjutsu specialist) have been praised multiple times, Ao, shikaku, danzou, etc for his genjutsu, itachi puts minato in a genjutsu, and the end, if minato charges the way he did at obito (which I know he would due to his fighting style involving cqc) he losses to itachi horribly

Noo, guys training in taijutsu is unsurpassed, there is no telling if minato had that training, and minatos fighting style involves analysing the opponent, were to throw his kunais like what happened with obito, he threw a kunai straight through his head, despite knowing he's an uchiha, he looked at his face to throw the kunai, just what itachi needs, look at me boy for a second and you are a goner, he placed orochimaru in genjutsu while oro was behind him, comeon now, you can not fight itachi without him placing you under genjutsu

other part of Kurama. how's that fanfic for ya? But if it's the Minato post giving that half he had to his son which BZ stole and gave to Madara which Obito stole back for Naruto then well his reaction speed and his knowledge of the Uchiha should see him good against Itachi.

As well as everything I said about speed obviously being a factor, usage of shadow clones, existing knowledge & intel of high-level Uchiha and the fact that even Naruto was able to dispel basic genjutsu. Yeah....pretty sure that guy overlooked those bits haha as WELL as the fact he's an amazing sensor.

You mean his fight against Tobi (Obito) in which Obito displayed no genjutsu against him. Bruh the only way genjutsu affects the ninja it's intended on is if they have direct sight on the Uchiha casting it brah so that person only need avoid contact with their eyes to not get caught in it.

Definitely. I go out of my way to say that there's points where Minato & Itachi could pull early wins. If Gamabunta completely dominates Susanoo so the arms can't move- game over. If Itachi pulls that tsukiyomi even tho Minato has argument counters against it...still a possibility for it to land- game over.

In my opinion Itachi is in most cases the stronger ninja but Minato is the more useful of the two. The match-up is in Minty's favour.

It probably would hinder Minato's fighting ability but his senses and reaction time which is pretty evident displayed against Obito would help if he were hindered like that.

Now who's providing excuses for Obito. Possibly even if Minato got caught in Itachi's genjutsu depending on the level and if it wasn't Tsukyomi then Minato would only need to bite his lips displayed by Kurenai during the time Itachi and Kisame went to the Leaf looking for Naruto when she bit her lip after having her genjutsu she tried on Itachi reversed on her.

Please Minato was a prodigy in the academy who graduated early and ranked high fast like Itachi did and unlike Itachi became Hokage because he ended the 3rd War.
