I actually am dying to know how it all went down. I mean, we know next to nothing about the Shodai and it would be awesome to see Hashirama vs Madara and other characters like Tobirama or Izuna.

However, implementing flashback chapters in the middle of the plot of a story that's about to come to an end? That would be stupid. Incredibly stupid and lame. I'd completely lose my patience and just drop the manga until it finished.

I'd rather have him do the whole Hashirama vs Madara thing after the end of Naruto Ship. Doing it in the middle of an epic war? No. Completely out of place. I mean, it would be like,

Madara: *In the middle of an epic fight* This reminds me of the good old days.... *randomly stops and starts reminiscing*

5 Kage: Wtf is he doing?

[Insert flashback of 3+ chapters]

Madara: *hasn't moved a f*cking inch* Ah, good times...

5 Kage: What.

Readers: WHAT.

WTF. That would be so off with the current flow. Nah, Kishi should just stick to what he has going on now.

Like Madara isn't doing that already, the only thing Madara has been doing lately is standing still spamming Susano'o and Wood talking non stop like a woman, then get punched from one side to the other like a volleyball and oh his arrogance...

He's been playing around, and I think mainly testing what he can do with Mokuton. I think it's quite amusing, actually. An odd sort of comic relief. Especially in the latest chapter. Way to reverse the 5 vs 1.

His arrogance? What's wrong with it? I think it's completely deserved.

Though I do agree some of his talking got on my nerves. Especially the whole "I wuv Hashirama"-thing he has going on lately. Dude... seriously... I'm partially expecting some sort of epic declaration of love at this point :\

Yeah, it's annoying, he makes it sound as if Hashirama is his boyfriend, can't agree with you more there.
I don't think Madara should be so arrogant as he is right now, ok he can be arrogant but please make him stop talking, Tobi hasn't even said a single word (or not much) in the battle with Naruto and he isn't bragging about a person the whole time, he doesn't even care about himself or such all he wants is his plan to succeed which I really like about Tobi, he's not that overconfident Villian while at the same time he isn't "emo" aswell.
Madara the first 2 chapters was epic, the variation in his fighting, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Ninjutsu, Doujutsu everything was there truly a monster who is use to wars, he never spoke in battles he was just owning everything and just silent and I loved that. After that it's talk talk talk talk non stop.
