What Sasuke and Naruto received was just left over traces of chakra from a dead ghost that's barely a shell of his former self.

Yet, it made them godly.

Seriously? Lose against them? He would kill them instantly. Naruto and Sasuke only got his Sons strength. Hagoromo would never lose against them lol

Prime Hagoromo is Juubi Jin Hagoromo who would be on par or very close to Kagyua herself. Considering great deal of Juubi;s power which was lost by Hagoromo when he extracted ten tails chakra and created tailed beasts yeah he should get much weaker.
