Dead Demon Consuming Seal and other Seals

Did anyone notice that the Uzumaki Sign is the same as the Dead Demon Consuming Seal?

Does this mean this technique or the Shinigami belongs to the Uzumaki clan? We know that all super techs of Uchihas have Godnames, and this would fit to the Uzumaki as well.

But I wonder, if seals are that strong (almost as strong as in full metal alchemist) why are they not used much more? We only know about Mito, Kuchina and Minato who used it often. Sometimes guys like Sasuke draw a summoning-seal on their hand. But we dont know an actual master that uses seals permanatly in his techs (besides Minato)

they do there all over the place like sasuke has his seal tatooed on him and Jman has his scrolls ,and dont get me started with oro. but yes it is the uzumaki clans seal that was there specialty

How do you want to create such a technique? I mean: you have to practise, you have to try out some things. But if you try to invent something as strong as this one, and you practise it once, you are pretty fast dead.^^

I think it is more like a technique of the so6p that was past down to the Uzumakis for generations.

Nah Hiruzen learned it from Minato and Minato probably from Kushina or Mito and which ever it was learned it from a member of the Uzumaki clan.

None of those you've named can have created , has it's sides effects were already know, and for it to be known, it had to be used, and if it was used, the user would have been dead and therefore can't be either of those, just like the gates

It's probably a technique that was developed long ago by a group of Uzumaki's and it's been transferred as Kinjutsu from generations as a last resort, again, just like the 8gates

Minato is not an Uzumaki, and I highly doubt he created the jutsu that actually gets in touch with the Shinigami... seems like an older gen technique to me.

yes Hiruzen learnt it from Minato and he probably from an Uzumaki (btw i never said that he is Uzumaki to the stupid guys that thought i meant that).

I just mean they seem to be very powerful and I just cant see a logical reason how to develop such a technique and pass it down, when u r acutally dying after using it.^^
