[Discussion] DC Universe vs Marvel

I personally love DC way more than Marvel. Marvel just isn't that interesting anymore. I guess because of all of the movies. And Marvell is so weak compared to DC. Superman destroys galaxies with sneezes. And DC has multiple characters that can survive in space.

DC Universe Online

These are my favorite DC Games.

DC TV Shows:

Young Justice
Green Lantern: The Animated Series
Teen Titans
Beware The Batman
Batman Unlimited
Justice League

While Marvel has absolutely no good shows.

This is just my opinion but which do you prefer?

Yeah i love them both but i perfer DC over Marvel but both are classic ^_^

This thread is extremely biased.

Marvel IS interesting if you read the comics, or at least the marvel wikia. The background history of characters are more realistic. I feel that the marvel universe is more diverse and relatable...other than the mutant thing. Only thing I hate is how they ride Wolverines jock so much...

I did a poll thread about marvel vs DC comics...marvel won, of course.

Edit: Marvel does need to make some television series, though. But it's like, every time they try, it gets canceled, or they end it too soon.

I like both a lot actually.
-I prefer DC for its mortals...the vigilantes, the guys who don't have power really but depend on martial arts ie. Batman family, Green Arrow family, Deathstroke and others.
--I only like a few superpowered heroes like Flash, Captain Marvel and Black Adam. I really don't like Superman for the fact that in the 60's I believe they started giving random powers for no reason and now he is far to powerful to make any sense.

As for Marvel, I like how its organized. Its power vs power, I feel as if there is actual balance in characters power with each other.
-I like the mutants and the avengers anywhere from Ironman to Magneto
--I like how items play a role in the stories and can make a weak hero into a god.
-I truly only dislike one person in Marvel and that is Wolverine actually

As for a battle between DC and Marvel you have to pick a specific universe. I always go with mainstream b/c that's the one everyone knows and each characters powers are more scaled. Example DC: New Earth and Marvel: Earth-616
-I believe in the mainstream worlds Marvel wins

As for shows and games, yes DC makes better ones. But Marvel still has the movies.

So you have to read the comics in order to have an opinion about it? Nah. If you watch the movies, tv shows and play the games I think that's enough.
