, which is a follow up to an extra chapter that revealed the name of Son Goku's mother to be Gine. In the interview, Toriyama talks about Androids #17 and #18, discloses information on Majin Buu, and discusses the Super Saiyan states. I don't know how many of you guys love Dragonball Z, but to me, this was awesome to see.

I really thought that the information released on the Super Saiyan states, although vaguely worded, was interesting. It implies that "Super Saiyan" is a basic power up and that "Super Saiyan 2" and "Super Saiyan 3" scale based off of the first. In that regard, it confirms that training your base level would raise the strength of those states, and suggests that the previously heard of "Frieza Cap" (the idea that no Saiyan, in base form, could surpass Frieza's level of strength) may be completely untrue.

I also enjoyed the bits on #17 and #18, with the divulging of the names, though I'm curious as to whether their names were just allusions to their startlingly blue eyes.

I like the fact Kaioshins are like plants. XD Yeah the names are very interesting! DBZ was the first anime I watched and it's very nice to see some of this stuff revealing, like Buu being around since the beginning of time. I also loved how Bills just sealed Old Kai into the sword, because he got annoyed. No more SSJ2 or SSJ3 though? That sucks, especially if they were to make a new series; SSJ2 is my favourite Super Saiyan form.

Yeah, but it was previously assumed by many that there was a limit to the "base" form's strength.

I really hope he keeps releasing more information, like he has been. It's really put me in a good mood to feel that nostalgia all over again and to have some more closure on the series. I know it's old by now, but it was the first show that I seriously got into, and it's kind of set the pace for any anime and manga like it.
