the movie unlike all the others doesnt follow goku and friends. its centered on four evil saiyans and one new saiyan who is a fortune teller/ arabian wizard like. this saiyan is 1000 years old and was punished by the old kais for being evil. in trying to escape he would injure himself to the point he almost died over and over causing him to power up many times. some time later during his imprisonment he learned to use his chi to hear all things in the universe like the kais do and saw many interesting warriors. the saiyans name is rahmaein and he one day freed himself and decided to bring back these evil saiyans to be his new crew and become a super saiyan god and kill goku who serves the kais. rahmaein stole the new namek dragon balls to revive these warriors.
1. after loosing to goku and piccolo raditz trained vigorously. it wasnt revenge that drove him but he realized his own weakness. raditz doesnt care about being the best because his pride was wounded. he just wants to relive the good ole days in a saiyan party blowing up planets and killing people. hes learned to go super saiyan.
2. nappa became spurned by vengeance over vegeta killing him. he trained and trained in the after life until he managed to go ultra super saiyan 2 (the buff super saiyan) he doesnt care about his life anymore he just wants to kill vegeta.
3. broly after floating through space for over a year he was saved by rahmaein. broly suffers mental damage and suffers outbursts of rage that he can not control but is cured by rahmaeins magic. rahmaein in actuality cursed broly with the affliction of the berserker. it turns broly into a loyal body guard doing whatever rahmaein says by storing his rage inside of him. however when unleashed in battle he cant tell friend from foe after a while unless its rahmaein.
4. turles. after being defeated by goku a fellow low class saiyan turles is inspired to become stronger. he trained in the after life and achieved ss3 and wants to become the ultimate warrior. he plans on taking whatever rahmaein wants.
thes five saiyans are on a quest to kill the gods of war and rule the universe with rahmaein as the super saiyan god.
