I don't think akira grasp the concept of how big a universe is let alone a galaxy.

The universe is basically infinite and continuously growing,so blowing it up hah.

A galaxy more understandable. And even then we as humans can't even leave "Our" galaxy in our life span.

Honestly though ... it's not real, we can't create spirit bombs and bring the dead back to life. This anime is fictional, I don't think he that he believes that someday that'll be achieved. If he wants to make a character blow up the galaxy then by all means its his fictional story.
