As we know, the losers of this all universe tournament according to Zeno and Daishinkan, have their universe deleted. I have a theory though, and reasons why it could be either true or false. I beleive thatperhaps Zeno is bluffing. Why? In order to get everyone to fight all out, in order to be the most entertaining for him.

However,that could be completely wrong. As we have seen when zeno';s where playing with planets and universes in their little game, they have no qualmns at all about destroying places, or the loss of life that comes with it. They are actually entertained by it. We have also heard testimony plenty of times about how he gives no ****s.

Yeah, and since DBS likes to recycle past plotlines, the whole universe erasure thingy could probably just be another Monaka-type motivation for everyone to do their best.

Zeno is not The kind of person who would lie to motivate people when he could tell the truth to motivate people.

I doubt he's lying. That would ruin the arc for me anyways.

On the other hand, why forbid killing if the universes will cease to exist anyways if they lose?

exactly, the tourny rules are dumb to me imo I was hoping to see a long arc of 1 on 1 showdowns noiw iut will be a 3 episode scramble of people trying to trick others out of the ring. (i hope not but the fight pacing has been really fast)

He could be faking this ''ill erase the universes that lose'' so that it will be the most entertaining for him if everyone goes all out like their lives depend on it.

Besides the winner is given the super dragonballs, which for all we know, can wish back all the universes.
So its not likely that the goal of the tournament is erasing universes.
As Zeno could do that without the tournament or with the tournament but without the super dragonballs as a prize.

Among things the goal of the tournament is raising the mortal lvl I think.

Yeah, It's a plausible thing, Zeno likes to see fights, and everyone will fight at 100 percent and train at 100 percent if they think their entire existance will be erased for losing. As such everyone going all out will be the most entertaining for zeno, so I don't see why he wouldn't lie to them to motivate them.

He's the type that likes to be entertained, and likes entertaining people. (goku) If he tells them that the losers will be erased, it will motivate them to go all out, and thus, entertain him. Why else go through the trouble of arranging a tournament?
