DBS route possible or not?

Some fans think the anime will overtake the boruto manga and lead the series from then on, but would the transition be that easy? Kodachi is supposed to be the writer for the new series, so he'd have to switch or do more than just supervising the anime. Not only would changes be needed, but could he handle that kind of stress?

They already teased movie and after-movie manga material early on plus 12 manga chapter vs 52 episodes a year...no way the manga will remain the source, so I asume the anime will take the lead next year just like DBS.

The DBS manga is still liked despite being behind the anime, but i think one of the reasons why fans like it is because toyo does a good job at imitating toriyama's artstyle. Unlike in the boruto manga, where ikemoto doesn't give a damn.

Ikemoto's art style is not as terrible as everyone puts it, but its not enough to carry a monthly rethread of events we already seen in the anime. Unless he manages to make it interesting like the DBS manga, I don't see it happening.

I can only guess, the manga will do some things differently like the DBS manga does, but that's just my speculation.

Sure, it can. Remember we only had 10 or less canon episodes in a year? The DBS route is just a possibility at this point, not something guaranteed to happen.
