[Question] Davey back fight

So I just started to rewatch op and man i am struggling to get though this part why is it so bad, foxy is a horrible villain
and even though their is some funny parts its probably the worst one piece ive ever watched. Please someone tell me it gets better.

don't skip what comes after the Davy Back arc (W7 and EL), also don't skip Sabaody, also everything from it to MF ... ah sh??, just don't skip anything XD

and yes it's by faaaar my least fav part of OP too, don't exactly dislike it as much as i doesn't fin in the story

Some people like it, some don't. I personally love it. It is good in my opinion. Foxy isn't considered as villain to me. He isn't someone to be taken seriously. No Foxy, no Afro.

I had the happy opportunity to not watch the MF arc, avoided all spoilers and had an epic two day sitting

and it blew my socks off,

i really recommend doing so also if you have time, because it really does leave an impact

look up to find out which are the filler episodes, And just skip them, after you get caught up, you can decide to go back and watch the filler arc/episodes.

it certainly gets better.

I personally enjoyed the Davy Back fight. Afro Luffy should make an appearance again soon. Also if Foxy hadn't been created as a two bit character his fruit is pretty OP, look at how much damage Luffy took to a clown using that power. Imagine if someone as strong as Luffy Zoro or Sanji were to have that DF on top of their power, it'd be sort of like what Zoro went through with Kuma giving him all of Luffy's damage at one moment.

Go on, google and type in Onepiece episode guide. You'll be able to see whats filler and whats not. I recommend you skip and not watch any of the foxy pirates arcs. They are not part of the story.

Dont get me wrong, i usually enjoy op fillers but this one just gets on my nerves :|

The Davy Back Arc has filler in it but it itself is not filler

Yeah, for me the entire DB thing was the most boring OP arc. In the manga though it's still doable as it's not that long, they only do the water race, the ballgame and the Luffy vs Foxy fight (power to the afro!), but in the anime they almost doubled the length of that arc. Unlike most arcs it also doesn't provide anything substantial for the development of the plot and then they started milking it out in the anime. The only worth it has, is that at the end Aokiji pops up, which was I think the entire point of that all.

DB fight can b pretty boring for sure just skip to when Kijo shows up then watch evrything else then when u have tym and withought a target to beat wacth DB fight its really fun when u are just chillin and not thinking "is this guy gonna join or is luffy gonna burst out with some new tech".
