Databook scores aren't reliable!

DB scores aren't reliable and its pretty obvious why.

DB scores over 5 meaning the max score is 5 and the min score is 1, now DB scores were made to rank characters specially during the Akatsuki era, not the war and juubi revival arcs. The reason is easy to understand

Lets take someone one of my favs as an example:

Itachi Uchiha has

Ninjutsu=5
Taijutsu=4.5
Genjutsu=5
Intelligence=5
Strength=3.5
Speed=5
Stamina=2.5
Hand Seals=5
Total= 35.5

Now look carefully at the bold Itachi is a 5/5 on ninjutsu meaning that he is on par with Current Sasuke and Naruto because they are the top of the top in Ninjutsu right now.

He is 4.5/5 in Taijutsu that means he is only .5 away from Gai 8th gates since he is the top of the top in Taijutsu

He is 5/5 in speed meaning he is equal to 8th gate Gai, Juubi Madara, Sasuke and Naruto

Do you see anything wrong with the things stated above? I hope you do!

I think only ninjutsu is wrong not saying he is on 8 gate speed but compared to a normal/fodder ninja he is a 5.....but he is really fast that's all I am saying....I would say sasuke <<< itachi in speed...

I don't really trust the data book or anyone who relies on it 100% for arguments and such. It made sense back in part one and earlier on in Shippuden. But now it seems to have lost credibility. Unless it's only covering base modes and such. And even then a lot of the characters would have scores that would be well over 5.

Also it should be up to 10 now In my opinion if it's gonna try to be a reliable source. Gives a lot more room for non-base modes and for how characters have improved.

It's naruto and sasuke also gai just used 8 gates on madara while sasuke and naruto are 100%....have you already forgotten what happened last time when sasuke tried to blitz madara who was without juubi???

Just because you are ranked a 5 does not mean you will be the same as someone else that is ranked a 5. The 5 just represents that you are a master in that category. Lets not forget that the Databooks dont take into account Modes such as Sage Mode, Gates, and Jin Cloaks. That does not mean Databooks should be ignored however. The only characters that would break the parameters of the 5 in base modes are the Juubi Jins, Sage Family, and Naruto and Sasuke.
Even Hashirama can be measured in the 5 category. In my opinion the Databook stats are very accurate for the characters they have ranked and hope that we get characters like Hashirama, Minato, Tobirama and the past Kages ranked in DB 4. None of these characters should surpass the total of 40 anyways.

Me and my friend have a test. Out of 40 points i scored max, but he scored 37. We both got 5 (highest grade in my country), even thought i have three points more than him, databook is based on same principle.

thats not madara gai fight with.after absorb the shinju he is even more powerful than before

That proves nothing. A 5 in a stat means mastery in an area. Two people can be a master in an area and still have a large gap in their skill level. It was even stated Kurenai and Itachi have the same Genjutsu skill level but, Itachi's sharingan put him over the edge. Gai's knowledge and proficiency of Taijutsu doesnt increase with gates. His speed and strength does. His knowledge and proficiency of Taijutsu is what allows him to abuse those stat buffs. Again being a 5/5 and sharing the level with other characters doesnt mean their their the same speed.

Sometimes they don't make much sense, but that can be due to power levels being adjusted to fit different battles.
