Was just reading Narutopedia like always thne got to susanoo.....

Similar to other Mangekyō Sharingan abilities, Susanoo was taken from Japanese mythology: Susanoo is the wild god of sea and storms, brother to Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi. (need Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu for Susanoo U_U) (already creepy)

Susanoo inherited his father's sword Totsuka no Tsurugi (Itachi's Susanoo..)

Susanoo redeemed himself when he used Totsuka to slay the serpent Yamata no Orochi and obtained the Sword of Kusanagi from the monster's corpse. He later gave the acquired blade to Amaterasu as a peace offering.

Itachi = Susanoo.
Sasuke = Amaterasu
Orochimaru = Yamata no Orochi...

I know japanese mythology influenced most of naruto but damn x.x like really... You had to snatch a part right from the story and make into naruto? (Susanoo redeemed himself when he used Totsuka to slay the serpent Yamata no Orochi and obtained the Sword of Kusanagi from the monster's corpse. He later gave the acquired blade to Amaterasu as a peace offering. )

So do you think this also means Itachi (toksuka ) gave Sasuke ( amaterasu ) The totsuka blade as a peace offering to forgive him for slaying the Uchiha?

This is actually pretty interesting.

Well that part was interesting. However, Sasuke already had a weapon he himself called Kusanagi so no need for Itachi to give it to him, so I don´t think the mythology was followed on that matter, but I love the mythology nonetheless.
