So Naruto didn't want to lose Sakura over to Sasuke even though all Sasuke cared about was Itachi and getting stronger. Has Naruto even said that he loved Sakura? I don't remember any of that. I do know that he's always called Sakura cute and he liked her in the first chapter

I really think Sakura could've had him at any point in the manga. He only scolded her because she claimed to give up on Sasuke and act nonchalant like she didn't care about him anymore.

But Sakura's design in this movie seemed halfed assed at parts like this.

The entire movie is full of retcons and plotholes. They only cared about pairing Naruto and Hinata up in the best possible way lol.

i called bullshit on that part. because if that was in fact the case, then he would have like ino and all the other girls. but as we know, he was only into sakura and it had nothing to do with sasuke. it was just something completely stupid they put into the movie to say that naruto didn't know what love was.

Lol, The theme of the this is SasuSaku and Naruto rivalry.
The question of what made Naruto go after just Sakura besides other girls he like, the answer was what I gave.
