Darui's Battlefront

The coastline seemed to take the heaviest casualties during the early stages of the war, what with Kinkaku going KCM and the Gedo Mazo tearing s*** up.

My question to you is that if you think Darui was a weak enough general to let this happen, or if it couldn't be helped regardless of Darui's abilities.

I personally think it couldn't be helped, but that's my personal bias.

All battle fields would've been dead without Naruto so you can't really blame Darui.Darui didn't have any ninja that can take on Gedo Mazo and Tobi.

Tobi is the strongest ninja alive so i'm not surprised.

It's not like Darui froze up and just let his men die without a fight. He was a good leader and did what he could. The odds were totally against them

Darui was a pretty great general, none of them were to know which battlefield would get the most opposition but the unit on the beach just got unlucky. Kakashi might've been able to put up a better fight against some of the bigger names on the coastline (Kin/Gin, Kakazu for SURE) but Darui was a good captain in the fact that they had ANY troops left. Not to mention before Tobi appeared, they'd actually secured the coastline.

Darui had more of an intellectual battle than i physical one. I commend him for that because any shinobi would've been stuck in that pot thing like Samui and Atsui.
