She has three Natures: Doton (Earth), Suiton (Water), and Katon (Fire). Along with the Natures, she could combine them to create and utilize 2 Kekkei Genkai's: Youton (Lava) and Futton (Boil or Vapor). Its not about dodging the techniques. She could simply or possibly reduce the effect of the technique with one of her Natures or Kekkei Genkai, rendering the Ranton (Storm or Gale) useless.

I still see your point. Ranton (Storm or Gale) is controlled and precisely aimed when utilize by Darui. However, he is going against an Kage that has tremendous skill and experience when it comes to combat. His chances for a critical hits is not high.

If they are fighting in an open area.. Darui will win.. Mei hasn't shown any speed feats and defense technique that can counter black panther lightning

Mei's lava and corrosive mist are the slowest technique i ever seen.. so easy to dodge.. its powerful but its too..

No matter how powerful your technique if you can't hit its useless... Karin was able to dodge the lava.

alot of people are starting to like darui now cuz of the recent episode.. i liked him from before but in all honesty imo i think mei with extremely high difficulty. hey remember he is a captain of one of the companys so it says somethingdaruivs mei is like kakashi vs tsunade

I don't think Mei is built for one vs one. She can beat a lot of people but when you get to a certain level then it changes. Her abilities are nice but she seems like an defensive/counterattack type of shinobi. If they are fighting out in the open then Darui would wins hands down. Her only chance is a closed space.

Her Water Style is pretty huge to be honest. While I'm not sure if Mei can dodge Gale Release I'm not certain that Darui can dodge those either. Acidic mist just forces Darui to do the job quickly.

I guess this fight would be over quick. Can't Mei create a molten magma shield to block Darui's incoming attacks?
