Boil release isn't useless in an open field the same way Hiding in Mist Technique can be used in an open field. Beyond that not only does she have extremely powerful suitons but she also has Katon and Doton releases and Boil and Lava releases. She's just too much for Darui and probably Kakashi unless we want to use the Kamui argument
