I not quite sure if your chakra is drained by an outer source, the genjutsu will be broken. However, if that appears to be the case well then that makes perfect sense.

The way I see it it's impossible to disturb your own chakra with your own chakra. It has to be someone elses. That is why Perfect Jins have the best way of fighting genjutsu. It's never 1 on 1 when you fight a perfect jin.

But sasuke broke out of tsukiyomi by using the cursed seal which disturbed his own chakra flow and the cursed seal is his technique/power.

To break Genjutsu the ninja needs to stop the flow of chakra in their body or have their chakra disrupted. It has been shown that the SOSP weapons require great chakra levels because the weapons are constantly devouring and disrupting

Even if the chakra isn't being from a benign source, I mean for good intentions, it is still interfering with Darui's chakra which is enough to allow him to escape genjutsu which deceives the 5 senses. Of course this won't work on the top tier genjutsu like Kotoamatsuki or Tsukuyomi. Nor would it work against the 2nd Mizukage's genjutsu because it is applied on the surroundings.

Both the Kin/Gin Bros and Darui could be immune to genjutsu. Of course not advanced genjutsu.
