Assuming he has the SOSP weapons, but why wouldn't he have them ?​

Explanation
To break Genjutsu the ninja needs to stop the flow of chakra in their body or have their chakra disrupted. It has been shown that the SOSP weapons require great chakra levels because the weapons are constantly devouring and disrupting

Even if the chakra isn't being from a benign source, I mean for good intentions, it is still interfering with Darui's chakra which is enough to allow him to escape genjutsu which deceives the 5 senses. Of course this won't work on the top tier genjutsu like Kotoamatsuki or Tsukuyomi. Nor would it work against the 2nd Mizukage's genjutsu because it is applied on the surroundings.

Good point, but he has shown that his chakra levels are definitely top-tier out of the non-jinchuuriki. He was able to use Black Lightning, use the weapons about a dozen times and use storm release several times. He manages to outlast 2 pseudo-jinchuuriki with help of course.

I don't remember this. And even if this happened in the end all the weapons will go back to Kumo and then to Darui.

No, the chakra network is all the same, but the flow just lessens and due to Darui having quite high reserves, I don't think it affects that much. It might be possible against weak illusions, but I don't think the weapons help against stronger ones.

No because the lightning armour is composed of his own chakra. The SOSP draining his chakra, which in a way is interfering with it, is from an outside source.

The way I see it it's impossible to disturb your own chakra with your own chakra. It has to be someone elses. That is why Perfect Jins have the best way of fighting genjutsu. It's never 1 on 1 when you fight a perfect jin.
