I think Nagato's original desire to wipe out a bunch of people to instil peace through fear in a sort of "Watchmen" scenario was pretty dark.

Kiba - switch places with akamaru
Shino - stop grossing everyone out
Sakura - run off with sasuke
Lee - turn into gai
Hinata (again) - stop being a stalker
Kakuzu - become a cardiologist
Shikamaru - kill ino
Konohamaru - merge with naruto
