I don't go for trophies, but my completionist side will make me get all the spells and rings. So I'll probably end up with it as well

Good luck my friend. But be warned: spells and rings are the two hardest things to collect 100%. For spells you need to track most down, but about half the spells are sold through various merchants - one merchant in particular will go away for the entire playthrough if you don't constantly being him spell scrolls.

And for rings you'll need to play through minimum new game +3 as there are rings that can only be acquired in new game, new game +2, and then +3

Hello again, yeah I know about those. I have all the rings and just need the 3 spells from the covenants.
