Guys are saying shisui is weak because danzo and however many of his anbu defeated him and managed to take is right eye but I think we have to remember how old and inexperience shisui was.

Also they didn't even manage to kill shisui, shisui managed to hold them of and escape which is why he feared danzo coming back to finish the job.

Why are people acting like danzo is some fodder, he was on the same team as hiruzen which as lead by the second hokage just by this we can see he is not some weak shinobi.

Also I would like to add were talking about danzo, would danzo ever play fair and have a fair one on one battle with shisui.

When danzo wants something he does it the dirty way so I am sure he had some tricks up his sleeve and also other anbu members with him.

So for the fact shisui survived against danzo and his anbu combined with his young age and danzo's age and dirty ways of doing things I think we all have to cut shisui some slack.

If it wasn't for plot no jutsu sasuke would of lost his head, when danzo had sasuke paralyzed and in a sate where he can not move, instead of killing him then and there why would you give a speech about itachi :sy:

Anyway guys I think because we saw shisui beat up and actually injured we were surprised but let's not forget who danzo is and how he plays.

I would say we will never know, we have never seen Shisui fight...only Danzo..and he got pwnd by Sasuke. I can't see Danzo taking one eye and leaving the other, meaning Shisui willingly gave up his eye for "the sake of the village", and entrusted the other to Itachi for the same reason.

i think shisui is lying to itachi that danzou take his eye.... danzou is no match to shisui... uchiha shisui is most talented member of uchiha clan... i think shisui is more stronger and what u think?

Shisui was a well-known genjutsu user and was a known user of the body flicker technique. His speed, we can assume, is pretty darn high. If Shisui can use Kotoamatsukami, the battle will be over quick. However, it's more likely that he can't. Shisui can only use that technique once per decade (or, perhaps, once per eye per decade). Kotoamatsukami is not a jutsu you can rely on having. We don't know if he had any other MS techniques but none had ever been mentioned. Itachi knew all about Izanagi (and it's counter, Izanami). It's likely that Shisui knew the same things.

So, let's list the differences between Sasuke at the time of his Danzo fight and Shisui before Danzo stole his one eye and before he died.

Sasuke: Had a better set of MS moves (amaterasu and Susanoo, mostly). Was medically enhanced by Orochimaru, which probably lead to more strength, more speed and larger chakra reserves. Gained even larger amounts of power by focusing on emotions of anger and revenge. Was able to break out of Danzo's seal through sheer force of will. Did not know about Izanagi at first, had to learn about it during the fight.

Shisui: Known expertise in the body flicker. Much better with genjutsu (and we know Danzo was susceptible to genjutsu). Mentioned by several people to be very formiddable in battle. Probably would have known about the secrets of Izanagi, and the use of Izanami as a counter.

It's hard to tell which is stronger. If Shisui is really as fast as people claimed, he might have been able to win, but there's no way he could have won with the same strategy Sasuke used (Spam MS techniques, and ignore limitations of your chakra reserves). Of course, the fact that Shisui would have to kill Danzo a dozen times or more in order to actually win is hard for any shinobi to do.
