All the time, while fighting Sasuke, he was thinking about how to defeat 'Tobi'. He never took Sasuke serious and that was his mistake.

If Danzou was serious from the beginning, he would have defeated Sasuke, even standing on one leg, lol. I don't even mention the fact that Karin saved Sasuke's lives like 3-4 times by saying Danzou's movements while Sasuke couldn't see them...

Danzou, you lost because of your own fault, else you would have won against Sasuke, there is no doubt. Your fight with 'Tobi' would have been epic!

That's what the OP was saying.

Danzo was a fool who got fooled. well partially, he's not a moron.
But the whole point of not using KA on Sasuke was because he was saving it for Tobi.
In the end he wasn't able to use it on anyone and died in vain.

Yea if Sasuke was serious instead of wanting to talk to Danzo, he would lit him up with Amaterasu before he unwrapped his arm
