Danzou 5th Hokage?

Why wasn't Danzou even considered for 5th hokage position? It's weird how his name wasn't even brought up. Sad for him, considering how he aided Orochimaru for the fall of the 3rd Hokage.

Cause he was the leader of the root and the root did alot of work for the leaf and if Danzo was a kage he wont have time too work in the root and it would have been a great disadvantage for the leaf.

I think it was because Jiraiya was the preferred 5th Hokage by the higher-ups but Jman said that he was not the hokage type and told the higher-ups that he knew of a person who was more cutout for the job and it was later revealed to be Tsunade.

Maybe the higher-ups and many Konoha shinibi believed that either Tsunade & Jiraiya were a better and stronger homage than Danzou.

Also as I recall from part one... Danzou was supposedly injured from his battle with Hiruzen for the title of Third Hokage. That's what we were told in Part 1.
The reason why he had all of the cast and wraps.

haha not to mention gara lol age doesnt matter when it comes to being a kage danzo was made acting kage while tsunade was in a coma, he then went to the summit and was killed b4 it was made official so he isnt counted as a kage...but as acting kage imo he should be considered in kage debates even tho some do not agree

ummmm if im not mistaken when minato was alive there was jman and danzo and the two elder advisors and fugaku the head of the uchiha etc ....minato was chosen because he was the best not because he was their last resort haha
