Absolutely nothing remained that could have been considered part of Konoha. I stood shocked at the scene that made my aching bbody tremble with a cold chill in a sunny day. The leaf village had entirely become a battlefield and now it laid in ruins before me.A type of devastation that I did not think possible much less be seen on the worlds elite ninja village. My disciplined eyes quickly began picking up every shred of information from the landscape. The source of the attack could evidently be seen as a giant crater now substituted for where the leaf once existed. Although even within the crater a huge scale battle had been fought.
*Could the Hokage have defeated the akatsuki menace?*
The time for questions was ovee and I willed my body to reach ANBUs root division.Leaf or no Leaf, I was certain that ANBU still existed and were anxiously waiting for my return. To stop my body from jolting in pain with every footstep I inhaled a weak version of my own poison mist. I winced at the bitter taste but felt relieved that at least I was too numb to feel any kind of pain. Not a very practical method but suitable. This was my ninja way as Id always seen fit to serve my master..

For anyone could wring out thosse thoughts with a mental jutsy. So I cheated my mind with a seld made genjutsu. I would not describe how or when I arrived to the entrance but I just knoe i did. In seeing the doie I clasped my hands my hands together to shift through hand signs but before I did a cloud of smoke duspersed behind me.

I turned around to see two shinobi clad in ANBU attire plus an exaggerated display of body armor. Of course this was a natural reaction to such an attack.

With ease I flashed my signature hand signs to show my key. Behind their masks there was no hint of uncertainty nor of confirmation just callous consideration. For a moment they stayed but eventually they both disappeated just as they had appeared. In their place a stronger shadow could be seen from the smoke. Unmistakable. I leaned down on one knee for my master stood there.
