Yes you heard me. Danzo is stronger than MS Sasuke. He should have won that fight, but he didn't because of Sasuke's plot shield and many other things.
The main reason why Sasuke won was because he was assisted all along the fight.

So yes, this fight was extremely unfair and one-sided. In a fair fight Danzo would have won.

Does this really matter? Whether he was stronger then doesn't matter. If that's the case, must we say bring up the dreaded Naruto/Neji Chuunin Exam match-up? Sasuke won, Danzo loss. Sasuke used his abilities and his alone. At the end of the day, we're still talking about a guy who reached the pinnacle of his own power and had to borrow several others powers, going against Sasuke who we've yet to see reach his full potential. And from what I saw, Sasuke did a fine job against him without any assistance.
