And to find the clam Gaara didn't use "sensor" powers (like Mu or other sensors are shown to have), he physically sent out his sand to look for an anomolly and had that info transmitted back to him via whatever link he has with his sand. It's a unique ability that none of those guys possess.

What exacty do you call that then? either way he is "sensing" the clam. thats like saying im walking all over the arena so i can feel the clam with my feet, his sand acts as a sensor but i get where your coming from.

He can find the Mizukage with a neat trick, but he can't find him by "sensing his chakra" (which is the way people we call "sensors" in the Naruto verse locate people; Karin, Mu, C, Inos dad, etc)

but either way he is using something to find a hidden object thats a type of sensory whereas karin ect are mad for sensory. like i said i see your point
