Izanagi renders Danzou immortal for the he can keep it up which is a max of 11 minutes. During that time, Sasuke killed him more than once, which he would have lost if he didn't have the Izanagi.
sauske never killed him if danzos immortal. danzo can reverse damage so that it never happened, and was just an illusion. so sasuke killed him once. and only once. and izanagis part of danzos pwoer so of course hed lose if you take his abilities away

Danzo without Izanagi is fodder
danzo was the rival to hiruzen for 60 years and leader of root anbu, he got izanagi only after oro's experiments post uchiha massacre. also anyone is "fodder" if you restrict their abilities.
