Orochimaru doesn't need Izanagi to escape a deadly situation, not that Danzo is capable of inflicting one.

Danzo blows. He used Izanagi what, 10 times? and still lost to Sasuke.

oro used rebirth and ET what, 6 times? and he's lost damn near every battle hes been in. also danzo could have won in seconds but he'd already had shisui eye on recharge
