Out of these 3 geezers who's the strongest at their most powerful or atleast now and why. i think the third hokage is probably the strongest, i mean what other ninja was given the nicknames that he was given during his era.

how's he worthless? even danzo was said to have always been milestones behind the third which is why he became jealous and resorted to stealing power from orochimaru. the third is all natural and accomplished all his strengtyh through blood sweat and tears while danzo didnt

If being a ninja means being a great technical fighter then Hiruzen deserves to be given the title as the strongest or one of the strongest hokages ever. His teachers were the 1st and second hokage, his students were the legendary sannin, so he is without a doubt top tier and worthy of being hokage. He was given praise by nearly everyone:

Iruka considered him to be the strongest hokage in his prime, and he's an academy instructor who's educated in the history of Konoha.
Orochimaru and Enma commented saying that Hiruzen was miserable compared to his prime, even though he held his composure against 2 kages and orochimaru. Yes they were zombies but their power is still kage level, and most Jonin would probably be fodderized simply against one of the edo kages, yet Hiruzen fought 2 and was considered miserable and pathetic!! And remember he fought the 2 kages while old, unprepared, and tired. Being old itself is a huge handicap when it restricts your chakra levels, your physical strength and speed at the same time to the level of a genin. Hiruzen had the chakra, strength and speed of a genin yet look how well he did against both kages! He doesn't have a gekkai genkai llike Onoki, nor is he a jinchuuriki but he's still a very great ninja even in his old, rusty state.
HIS NINJUTSU:: The third hokage has the greatest chakra control any ninja has ever showed. Despite having the chakra of a genin he utilized his chakra to use Shadow clone technique, a forbidden A rank technique that requires extreme chakra control, Dead Demon Consuming Seal, an S rank technique, Earth Release Shadow Clone, Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique, shadow shuriken technique, an A Rank technique, earth style wall, which creates a great defensive wall, Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet, Earth Release: Earth Flow River, fire release: fire dragon bullets, fire release: fire dragon flame bullet, which is a B Rank fire technique, and the only B Rank fire techniques are the most powerful b rank techniques. (e.g. kakuzus fire technique is b rank yet look how powerful it is. people seem to underestimate B Rank tecniques only because a rank is higher. but not even most jounin utilize b rank techniques. examples of B Rank techniques are 10,000 snake formation, water release: water shock wave etc.). This arsenal is incredible for someone who has the chakra of a genin, which proves how excellent his chakra control is using such powerful techniques with only the minimum chakra required to execute each technique. He is also a master at collaboration techniques when he combined Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet and fire release: fire dragon bullets which creates streams of lava that would pulverize any ninja except orochimaru. He mastered every technique in the leaf village, probably even the hiden techniques, the 8 gates, and rasengan probably. That's quite an arsenal if you ask me. The third didnt use his full arsenal because he detected that the edo kages can't be killed with flashy jutsus which is why he decided to seal them as fast as possible, which implies his intelligence.
TAIJUTSU: The third has a 5/5 in taijutsu in the latest databook something not even kakashi and itachi accomplished. He went toe to toe with both hokages in a taijutsu duel and easily repelled them. He fought both kages in taijutsu with sluggish speed and battled orochimaru with the kusanagi blade several times and almost won had it not been for the interference of both kages.
Intelligence: the third was very intelligent in battle. he blew up both kages' legs and was able to detect both kages under genjutsu. he realized that the edo tensei kages can't be killed and right away shifted to trying to seal them.
GENJUTSU: The databook gave him a 5/5 in that category so we can't argue.
Don't be dumb...Prime hiruzen is said to be the strongest hokage...
And kabuto and orochimaru agreed that He was the strongest kage even in his old age...
Which means oonoki.....
OT-Danzo k/a's Hiruzen , then they both take out oonoki ...
haxed power doesn't matter, hiruzen is simply an awesome ninja with legendary talent and skill in every shinobi combat style, he's like kakashi times 10. ppl really overrate haxed power and underrate skill, which hiruzen is rich in

Danzo had a rivaly with hiruzen, with hiruzen always being one step ahead of him. Danzo said "Hiruzen… it looks like it's my turn next… but I… never did become Hokage… no matter how far I went I could never catch up with you… you are the leaves bathing in the sun. I…. am the roots that grow in the dark."
This illustrates their gap in power.

Hiruzen is the most well rounded of the 3. And 92 people voted Orochimaru, and only 56 for Danzo in a fight on these forums.
So if the old man can take Orochimaru to his knee's... I think he'd kick Danzo's cane out from under him.
As for Onoki, I don't think he's as skilled in the other areas as Sarutobi.
And if it wasn't for murdered Uchiha, and Orochimaru, Danzo would be a speck of dirt.
