Anyways, perhaps not, but it is not that hard to create a c1 explosive and throw it into Baku's snout, while creating a bird in the other hand which he immediately uses to take to the skies...Hiding like a mole technique would be a good last resort here as well.

You obviously don't know a thing about Deidara, first thing he'll do is set up his mines using a clay bunshin then making that bunshin use the Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu to lay his mines.

Deidara knows when the genjutsu is coming using his left eye which allowed him to counter Sasuke's assault using a clay bunshin.

Thats what i was thinking. And with Danzous wind style being such a wide ranged jutsu(s) he can deal with the bombs in conjunction with his Body flicker tech. You add the fact he can use izanagi last second, he can win

Yeah, while Deidara would be a tricky opponent.. Izanagi and his wind oriented ninjutsu really allow him to waste his [Deidara's] Clay whereas Danzo really... Has ten minutes of immortality. Not to mention the seal Danzo has... I'd give it to him more often the not.

ten or more minutes of immortality. because more often then not he will not have to use Izanagi, and nothing deidara has is fact enough to kill him before he activates it again.

i always liked danzo, nvr knew why he gets so much crap (hes pretty much just like itachi story wise ) Deidara always seemed too mainstream aside from vs sas-gay.
couldnt danzo just send the bombs back with wind style? just a thought
