Gai loses because Danzo can outlast his gates.

Izanagi should get Danzo the win. Gai doesn't know anything about Izanagi. Gai also isn't that intelligent to quickly analyse and understand it's workings.

Gai also isn't a sensor, so every time Danzo reappears in Gai's blind spot, he's vulnerable . Not to mention if Gaingoes gates, he is gonna exhaust himself way before Danzo finishes all 10 sharingan, and there's no guarantee that Danzo will even be forced to use Izanagi that many times.

I'd bet on Danzo slicing Gai in half with a vacuum blade barrage once his guard is down.

Danzo gets turned into paste over and over again.

Baku gets fried.

Gai wins med-diff, Baku gets fired by Asa Kujaku, Danzo gets multiple times fried, he westes his izanagais and then dies a horiible death.​

Danzo could win here since Gai knows nothing about Izanagi.

Danzo either outlast(and take advantage of openings) or will put his seal on Gai eventually to finish the match

An Izanagi ambush will fail horribly due to sound.

Danzo gets kicked in the face.

a seal on Guy is countered just like how sasuke countered it in canon. by releasing a surge of chakra or channelling inner force. i'd say gates is the perfect counter to that.

blindside attacks wont work considering Guy countered a blindside attack from obito

baku gets torched by asa kujaku with ease.

People are underestimating Gai's intelligence. I think this would be a very close fight, and Gai should be able to figure out Izanagi within 5 eyes closing. Unfortunately though Danzo will most likely outlast Gai, as Gai tends to put everything he has into one attack, and if that were to happen Danzo could just come back, and Gai would be exhausted. I'd give this to Danzo 7/10 times with high difficulty
