izanagi is 3 seals. So unless guy is opening ages and making it to danzo faster than danzo can weave them izanagi gets activated.

Is it bad I think the suicide ink seal would result this in a tie? Guy finishes all of his battles up close and personal and his muscles are destroyed/tired by the end of a Gated battle.

All you have to do is get a bit of ink on you before you realise what's happening and you're in there with him.

Also maybe turn SCENARIO 2 into 7 Gates. 8 is silly, even for durable Danzo.

I think that's a factor, but then he'd have Asa Kujaku to counter the suction. My main thing is a 10 minute, possibly longer, Izanagi coupled with the strain of fighting in Gated Mode along with the fact that when Danzo respawns he can launch surprise attacks.

You need to activate it via hand sign first. If it is activated via hand sign then after that a blitz won't work, but if Gai blitzed before Danzo could make the hand signs then it wouldn't activate.

Scenario with unrestricted Gai is an obvious win. I think with the restrictions of going no higher than 6G's is an interesting fight, but I'll side with Gai. Any stamina and gates repercussion concerns was tossed out the window in the war arc, when Gai was going in and out of his gates mode for long durations without any issue. The man can literally muster enough energy to go into the 7th gate and use Hirudora while already being at his limit... The 6th gate takes away far less body stress and energy, so being able to utilize it at will for 10 minutes (or however long it is) is legit not even a slight issue.

If Gai just keeps moving around, Izanagi surprise spawns will never work. Alternatively, summoning his tortoise to cover his backside to conserve energy is viable. With his reaction, movement, and striking speed, Danzo get's pummeled in every single CQC engagement until his time limit ends. Baku is never an issue as Morning Peacock hard counters, and with Gai's speed, he could likely maneuver around it's backside before the suction even takes place.

After a hard fought battle, I can see Gai taking it with high diff. I'm also assuming he has intel.

Danzo would beat Gai without the 8th gate since thanks to Izanagi. Gai will have to constantly keep up his guard to avoid attacks for 10 or 11 minutes and when Danzo can respawn anywhere and throw a Futon or whatever along with the stress of the gates, Gai will simply get overwhelmed.

Gai definitely wins scenario 2. Scenario 1 on the other hand would go to Danzo with Manga intel, if Gai has full intel then he can possibly win by doing what Forbidden Technique suggested.
