Danzo gave his opinion about every Hokage that he knew, except one, Tobirama Senju. Paradoxally it would have been the most interesting Danzo's point of view about a Hokage, because many fans believe Danzo was a follower of Tobirama, but we lack of strong evidences, none words about Tobirama.
There are Danzo's opinions about Hokage :
- Hashirama : Too soft, the creator of the softness ideology from Konoha. But Danzo in the fillers episode considered him as also extremly powerful and military very useful for Konoha. Basically Yamato project was to create another Hashirama, but brainwashed to be a war machine and not as peaceful than the true one.
- Hiruzen : Too soft. Inherited of Hashirama's softness.
- Minato ( fillers ) : He is popular, so his appointment is normal. And when he contradicted Hiruzen about the Hokage choice, he never said Minato was too soft, or too weak, but too young. It was his only counter argument. ( I think here Danzo thought that Minato as popular Hokage was a good thing, while him and Orochimaru could continue their shadow working. Danzo probably thought that he needed a popular official figure, in order to preserve Konoha reputation, while him could continue his dirty job. At this Time, Danzo didn't want to become Hokage, just be the shadow Hokage. )
- Tsunade : Too soft. Inherited of Hashirama's and Hiruzen's softness.
We lacked an opportunity to learn Danzo's opinion about Tobirama. It was when he met Tsunade in his office to talk about Sai as replacement of Sasuke. He talked to Tsunade like " Yes, I hope you won't be like your soft Grand father ". But I would have liked to see him say " instead, you should follow your Grand Uncle ".
Tobirama was the darkest Hokage, the closest Hokage to Danzo in term of policy. The one that Orochimaru himself respected the most. I am very curious to learn his point of view about Tonirama. Naruto lore is very interesting.
