Danzo is an older man but despite his age he has deep black spiky hair and looks relatively young. He bears an x-shaped scar on his chin which he has been shown having ever since his teenage/young adult years, though the exact origins of it have yet to be revealed. In his adult years he wears bandaging over his right eye as well as right arm. This bandaging conceals both the sharingan of Shisui Uchiha which Orochimaru implanted in Danzo's right eye, as well as ten other sharingan along his arm which he received from various Uchiha killed by Itachi during the Uchiha Massacre. For clothing he wears a heavy black hooded trench coat with a tan interior and four square tan buttons on the front. This appeared to be the uniform donned by his Root ninja as his two escorts, Orochimaru and an unnamed Aburame, also wore the outfit.

During his younger days Danzo was shown to have a prideful personality though he lacked the bravery to do what he thought a true shinobi should do. While on a mission with the second Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi and several other team members they were put in a situation where one would need to stay behind and most likely be killed. Danzo wanted to volunteer as he felt that it would be an honorable way to die. But his body locked up. Fear kept him from volunteering himself and as he struggled to muster up the courage, his rival Hiruzen Sarutobi stole his thunder. Hiruzen bravely volunteered with no hint of fear. As an older man Danzo became much more cool and collected. He was a master of deception and was even capable of making Kabuto unrecognizable by his adopted mother Nonou by sending her a series of progressively changing photos all in an attempt to have them eliminate each other. Despite the dark nature of his actions he held the safety of Konoha as one of his primary goals. He believed in doing whatever was necessary for the overall safety and peace of Konoha, even if this meant the sacrifice of many people.

History: As a younger shinobi Danzo was seen with a group of seven ninja that included himself, Tobirama Senju, Hiruzen Sarutobi, the two village elders, a member of the Akimichi clan and an Uchiha. This group was shown during a flashback in which they were surrounded by a group of Kumogakure master bountry hunters. The group decided that one of them had to distract the bounty hunters while the rest of the group fled. The one who stayed behind would undoubtably be killed. Danzo wanted to volunteer but couldn't bring himself to do it. He wanted to die a shinobi's death but was frozen by fear. Hiruzen then volunteered instead without a hint of fear. Danzo and Hiruzen were life long rivals in a similar way that Naruto and Sasuke are. They were polar opposites in philosophy but still seemed to be close friends. Danzo felt he was always one step behind Hiruzen. But even though Hiruzen volunteered he didn't stay behind. Tobirama instead chose himself to stay behind, naming Hiruzen to succeed him as Hokage before he left. Through the years Danzo increased in power and eventually became to leader of an offshoot of ANBU called ROOT. This group was extremely secretive going as far as to put a seal on the tongue of all its members which would paralyze them in the event of them speaking about ROOT. Danzo trained the members to ignore their emotions and carry out their missions no matter what. He used ROOT to carry out many covert operations, many of which weren't even known by the hokage. At one point he teamed with with Hanzo the Salamander in an attempt to kill Yahiko, Nagato and Konan. They were able to kill Yahiko but were forced to retreat by an enraged Nagato who summoned Gedo Maze and killed much of their forces.

At some point in time he also had Orochimaru and another Root shinobi accompany him to the Konoha Orphanage where he strong-armed a former agent, Nono, to infiltrate Iwagakure and find out what the village was planning. Soon after, Danzo notices Kabuto Yakushi spying from the window and decides to recruit the boy as well. However, in time, both Kabuto and Nono become assets too dangerous to be left alive and Danzo brainwashes Nono into trying to kill Kabuto through a series of altered photos. He sent Orochimaru to oversee no survivors, but Danzo was unaware that his subordinate did not follow through with the orders and instead took Kabuto under his wing. One of the biggest impacts Danzo had was during the events leading up to the Uchiha massacre. The Uchiha clan had become disgruntled with the village through a long series of events reaching back to the foundations of the hidden leaf. They had began to plan a revolt against the village, but they had a spy in their midst. Danzo was using Itachi Uchiha to gather information from within the clan. As the situation became worse Danzo wanted to pull the plug and exterminate the Uchiha clan. His lifelong rival Hiruzen Sarutobi however didn't want this. He believed the situation could be resolved through diplomacy instead of violence. Danzo disagreed with this and went behind Sarutobi's back and ordered Itachi to kill the clan. Danzo was later the one who ordered Sai to join team Seven to replace Sasuke. The plan was to have Sai go to Orochimaru and claim that Danzo wanted to team up and destroy Konoha. This was just a ploy however. The real plan was to have Sai infiltrate Orochimaru's hideout and assassinate Sasuke. Its unknown if this plan was known by the hokage or either of the village elders. Ultimately the plan failed and Sai became attached to team Seven. He began experiencing emotions that he didn't feel as a member of ROOT. Danzo told him that emotions led to hate and hate led to war, but allowed him to remain a member of team seven.

During Pain's invasion of Konoha Tsunade wanted to summon Naruto back to the village in order to give Konoha some more fire power. Danzo vehemently disagreed with this because Naruto was the Akatsuki's goal. Tsunade tried to send a messenger toad to Mt. Myobokuzan to bring Naruto back, but before the toad could leave Danzo killed it. As Pain destroyed the village Danzo and his ROOT members remained below ground in hiding. He ordered his troops to remain there and not aid in the defense of the village. His plan was for Pain to weaken the village and remove Tsunade from power. After that Danzo would take control of the village and name himself Hokage. During Pain's assault Tsunade fell into a coma due to expending her chakra too far in an attempt to heal numerous people within the village. After Pain was defeated by Naruto the fire Daimyo held a meeting with many high ranking members of Konoha to elect a new Hokage. Danzo attended the meeting and blamed the fall of Konoha on the weakness of Sarutobi and Tsunade when it came to military issues. In the end Danzo was named the sixth Hokage. Its unknown if this was because the Daimyo bought his reasoning or because he was being controlled by Shisui's mind control technique. Shortly after Pain's invasion of Konoha a meeting was called between the Kages of the five main shinobi villages. Being the newly elected Hokage, Danzo attended the meeting. Each Kage was allowed to bring two bodyguards. Danzo chose to bring two men by the names Fu and Torune. He considered these two to be two of his best members of ROOT. On the way to the Kage summit they were followed by numerous assassins. But using his sharingan Danzo was easily able to dispatch the attackers single handedly. At the meeting the Kages decided to join forces in order to fight against the Akatsuki group. When trying to discus which Kage would lead the forces Danzo used his mind control technique to control Mifune, the leader of the Iron Country. He used the technique to have Mifune nominate Danzo to be the head of the joint forces. This however was seen through by one of the Mizukage's bodyguards Ao due to a stolen byakugan which allowed him to recognize the chakra of Shisui Uchiha in Danzo's left eye. After this point Danzo was no longer trusted by the rest of the Kages and his plans were ruined. Later during the meeting they were interrupted when Zetsu appeared out of the floor. He notified the Kages that Sasuke Uchiha was in the building. This enraged the Raikage who then set off in search of Sasuke. The Raikage eventually found him and began to battle him. During this battle Danzo planned his escape as the rest of the Kages and their bodyguards were keeping an eye on him. When Sasuke finally reached the meeting room a battle ensued between Sasuke and some of the others. During this commotion Danzo took the opportunity to flee the summit. Before Sasuke could be killed he was rescued by Uchiha Madara and brought before the fleeing Danzo. By now Sasuke had learned the truth behind the Uchiha Massacre and wanted revenge against Danzo. They began to battle. As the battle commenced Sasuke questioned Danzo about the Uchiha Massacre. Danzo confirmed what Sasuke had learned and spoke poorly of Itachi's failure to kill his little brother. Danzo uttering the very name of Itachi caused Sasuke to be enraged. Sasuke used an arm of Susanoo to crush Danzo. Just as Sasuke thought he had exacted his revenge, Danzo appeared unharmed behind him. The trick behind Danzo's appearance was a technique called Izanagi. It was a technique within the Uchiha clan that had become forbidden. It made illusion into reality, allowing the user to escape death. The cost of the technique was that the eye used would be forever closed. Danzo was able to use this technique with little side effects due to his arm which was covered in sharingans. Throughout the battle it seemed that Danzo had the upper hand. He showed a proficient use of wind techniques, great use of the sharingan, and a summon called the Baku which sucked up everything before it. Danzo continued to mocked Sasuke and speak of Itachi causing Sasuke's anger to rise.

Wind Mastery: Danzo was shown to be very proficient in Wind release, and can easily perform all Wind based techniques with a single hand seal. Baku Summoning: Danzo is capable of summoning a powerful creature, known as Baku. Baku is an elephant chimera, who is capable of using a powerful Wind based jutsu, which if combined with other Wind based techiques, makes it even more powerful. Equipment Danzo has a common sword, kunai, smoke bombs, flash bombs and shuriken. He also carries a CW with him at all times, strapped to his back with a small strap, which allows Danzo to easily remove it and use it in battle. The staff is told to be the property of an almighty and powerful god of lightning, Enel. Although these were all myths, the two staff proved to be a relic, a symbol of the God's power. The story about the dual staff is a legend, nothing but a myth but it is a fascinating one. The staffs, according to tales, originated from a mysterious city above the clouds, often known as the heavens. The god who ruled during that time went by the name of Enel, a superior lightning shinobi that was described as a god from his powers and skills of the lightning element. Enel acquired the throne to the kingdom by defeating the previous leader at that time, and proclaimed himself as god. The past workers and peacekeepers that once worked for the previous god was forced to physical labor, giving up their lives to the god. The soldiers worked to build an ultimate weapon, a weapon so strong that it had the power to obliterate a whole country on its own. Needless to say, the Enel we speak of is described as a power hungry tyrant, and despite the title he gave himself, he was no where near the ethics of a god. The plan would have succeeded, and if it did, the shinobi world would, more or less be under hos control. No soldiers or villagers had the guts nor the strength to oppose him, and every spark of rebellion was to be taken care of by lightning, in other words, death. Before his plan was set in motion, he was defeated by an unknown shinobi. Legend has it that the man was defeated by a wanderer, and the god descended from his golden thrown in the city of gods to the floors of the deepest seas. Although his body was told to be irretrievable due to the amount of pressure under the sea, the only remembrance the "God" left behind is the two brightly-yellow staffs. The staffs are made entirely of gold. Although they look like plain and simple staffs, the abilities of the staffs are what intrigues modern-day historians who seek power in the world of the Shinobi. Although they were just myths, the two staffs left behind in the land of the ninja world would be a powerful tool, if given to the right shinobi. The only reason people believe and repeatedly hear the myth is because every once a while, the villagers under the Moon country would hear the ringing of bells from the sky. A truly majestic sound that soothed every man, woman, and children yet remain unknown up to this day. The only visible relic is the two staffs, currently wielded by Ace and those who he think is worthy. The story, however, has yet to be proven. This, however, is simply a tale that is most often told to children and is not real whatsoever. Though the relic (weapons) found near the location of the area is the sole reason many argue that such a city exists. The weapon is a dual staff, including two staffs made of pure gold. It is about three meters tall and two inches in diameter. Despite the composition of the staff's, it is unexpectedly light. This is because of its fairly hollow insides, allowing the user to be able to channel chakra throughout the staff, enabling themselves to perform or activate certain abilities that correspond with the staff's. Because of its light weight, it can be hung behind the back and is easily accessible during battle. The staff itself, even when on your back, will make no difference towards the physical performance of the wielder. The user of the dual staffs will run, punch, kick, walk, move, etc as easy as they would without the staff's on their back. This, of course would have an effect on difficult and complex moves, like backflips, front flips, etc where the body needs to move in a manner that would cause the staff's to hit a solid object, like the floor. This does not mean that it is impossible, but more difficult to perform complex moves such as the ones described above. The physical attributes (height in general) of the user would also come into play whether or not a body movement, like flips, would be slowed down by the dual staffs. Restrictions: Note 1: Despite it being two staffs, you can only perform the abilities of the staffs one staff at a time, excluding the transformation ones (Meaning you can't create two whips at the same time, or heat up the staffs at the same time. You can, however, do it one turn at a time, in accordance to time frame.) Each ability used counts as a move. Note 2: Can only be wielded by Ace. and those he allow. Note 3: In NW, this can only be used by one person at a time. Note 4: Heating and transformation is obviously short-range. Note 5: The weapon can transform back to its original form an unlimited amount of time. Note 6: It is indestructible.
