How does he have Shisuis eye when this was WAY before Shisuis death?

I think he already had those wounds even before receiving Shisui's eye. If i remember correctly it's said he got them after a battle against Hiruzen(so Hiruzen owned him lol)

Nobody knew that he had Sishui's eye until it was revealed at the Kage Summit. People would have been suspicious if he just showed up one day with bandages over his eye.

Maybe he doesn't have it there? All the bandages mean is that he's missing/has a hurt eye, sort of like a make shift eye patch.

well do you see a sharingan? maybe he lost an eye, and this was before he had orochimaru's help to get senju dna/sharingan. afterall.... orochimaru was working as his personal guard at that time BEFORE orochi became a missing nin.

But he was still a shinobi that went out on missions, he probably got injured and lose his eye, but then transplanted shisui's eye some time later.

The real plot hole is this. Orochimaru was a root member when he went to "kill" Kabuto, right? But, at that point in time he already left Akatsuki... Right?

He left Konoha prior to joining Akatsuki, right...? Jiraiya DID chase him down and was lead to Akatsuki originally because of Orochimaru.

So, how is Orochimaru apart of root after he left Akatsuki AND supposedly left Konoha?!
