First, a similarity between Kaguya and Danzo set up by Kishi.
Danzo figuratively looks over the battlefield, giving a sense of mysterious power, the sense that Danzo is in control of things in that battle. Danzo was not actually looking over the battlefield, it is simply the equivalent of fancy writing on Kishi's part.
Kaguya figuratively looks over the world, giving a similar sense of mysterious power. Again, it is the same equivalent of fancy writing as before.
Danzo and Kaguya's ideals are similar themselves. Both desperately seek peace through power, to unite the world as one. That is the point of Danzo's actions, and of Mugen Tsukuyomi.
Finally, Danzo and Kaguya's battles were similar themselves. Here's Danzo Shimura, who wields awesome power through Kotoamatsukami, and yet he was restricted of it so that Sasuke Uchiha could win his fight. He was not at full power and if he were, there would never have been a fight at all.
Same with Kaguya. She wields the awesome power of a god, and yet her Chakra was dispersed far and wide. She was fighting with only a mere portion of her strength, just like Danzo. Their destinies were the same, to be defeated by weaker opponents because they were fighting with only fractions of their true strength.
So yeah, Danzo and Kaguya are definitely eerily similar, I believe Kishi may have been trying to tell us something
