Using Izanagi to permanently remove limitations and strengthening Kotoamatsukami, he could use Kotoamatsukami with zero restrictions and on multiple people at once. Danzo would've done so much. Every genjutsu that originates from and is cast with a Sharingan/Mangekyo/Rinnegan classifies as visual genjutsu. You're probably referring to Danzo controlling Mifune while his eye was hidden, but that was just Kotoamatsukami's power.

Some unnamed dudes translation. They can't even make %100 accurate translation from manga which has lot less text. You think those databook translations are accurate ? I know what i saw in the manga. Crow and Itachi made eye contact, than boom your KA'ed.

That could be a possibility, but its still speculation. I also don't think the translators of the data book would be that wrong especially since different translators, translated the text and gave more or less the same thing
