Right, because with their bodies crushed that would have happened. Logic.
It's quite illogical to say that he wouldn't have revived them without their bodies.
1. Madara's revival did so completely, in spite of his 'body' being nowhere in sight. The edo body wasn't his, and by your logic, he would have either: a) revived as the sacrificial ninja, or b) revived somewhere else (possibly the cave he met obito in).
2. Are you trying to tell me that everybody who died in that attack had their bodies intact? Even the ones that got eaten by the giant insects? Because they all got revived fully healed.
