Danzo and Naruto-parallels

Serious thread time.

Danzo the War Hawk and Naruto the Orange Hokage. They seem vastly different- Danzo prefers emotionless ninja, while Naruto tends to let his emotions control him. At first glance, they're as different as can be.

Both were placed on a team with someone better than them (Danzo<Hiruzen, Naruto<Sasuke) Both had a famous ninja as their sensei (Tobirama and Kakashi). Both dreamed of becoming Hokage. Both use a power that is not they're own, which they stole (Danzo with Sharingan, Naruto with Kyuubi chakra in early shippuden).

Both consider Konoha to be the most important thing to them (Danzo cares for the village, Naruto cares for the bonds it represent). Eerily similar, to be honest.

But while Naruto chose to rebel against the ninja system, Danzo was consumed by it, molded by it, born in it. Had Naruto been consumed by the ninja system, had his determination and will not have been strong enough to change the world, Danzo is a strange glimpse to what he couldv'e been.

Danzo didn't care about the village.

He was just a machiavellian being obsessed with power. A person that cared about Konoha wouldn't shrug off it's destruction and potential genocide of it's inhabitants just for power - Naruto certainly wouldn't.

It's quite an insult to compare the two in anything.

Sasuke and Tenten have similarities in that they both have unreachable goals, both are fodder before the top tier, and were placed on a team they didn't belong.

You draw false parallels on where there is none. Danzo was a coward that wanted to be hokage because he was power hungry. Kishimoto demonstrated this fact many times over the years.

You failed to draw the critical contrasts. One of the most major was that Danzo always did the wrong (and usually evil) things for the wrong reasons. Naruto always does the right things for positive reasons (though sometimes too eagerly or without proper thought when he was younger).

The two characters could hardly be more different.

Honestly I did not read, it looks like another Danzo thread by a Danzo worshipper. If anything Danzo is like Sasuke more than Naruto.

Your trolling is weak.Sasuke and Kakashi are similar.The Genuis Kakashi who you have praised (in another thread) said it himself that Sasuke is similar to him.
