Breaking Tskuyomi isn't a problem, let him do it who cares lol. 1 secs passes (real world) by for Izanagi during the effects, which Danzo rewrites, while Itachi chakra+stamina lowers even further lol.

If it lands when he has no eyes left (Like when Sasuke did it in canon) then its GG.

Must of been a typo to say that I agree Genjutsu is useful, because it is completely useless in this match. He lost to Sasuke because 1) he underestimated him, which he knows Itachi too much to do that and 2.) He doesn't have Shisui's eyes to do everything the Sharingan can do, that could of further nullify Sasuke's ways of winning that match.

1. He fought Sasuke seriously, and he ended up dying. Its that simple. There is literally nothing in the manga that implies he held back, or that he underestimated him.

2. The only thing it'd do is foil Sasuke's mutual exchange finisher. Nothing else. Sasuke only went for the mutual exchange cause he knew that Danzo had no Izanagi time left, thus tricked him into believing that he did.

Having one more level of Sussanoo means more stress to Itachi so its the same encounter regardless

It means better defense when he needs it (Baku isn't even going to put a hole in V4 Susanoo w/Yata. It also means that he can pressure him easier since higher level of Susanoo=Faster, stronger attacks.

True "if". Otherwise Danzo uses experience to avoid eye contact from this point, and assuming Itachi will have chakra left to use it.

Except this scan says otherwise[ ].

No Genjutsu, would have not work at all to trick Danzo. Nor will the ability to react to "certain techs" would have differed that helped Sasuke.

Baku is going to enable Susanoo unable to move while Danzo sprays long range instead of getting close to him from the back, which V4 eventually goes down and Yata doesn't protect the back. Using a higher level is meaningless has the purpose is to outlast, when going higher means more stamina use.

Lol. Proves nothing. Doesn't even begin to illustrate your point.

Like he did in canon? Lol. That doesn't even begin to make a difference. His attack strength isn't going to change, its not going to do anything to a V4 when it only put a hole in V3, and Yata has been shown and stated to shapeshift to protect the user, so it'll protect Itachi's Susanoo from every angle. Don't know where "It doesn't cover the back" comes from, but naturally, its false.

Katon counters Baku, like it did in canon.

Danzo wasn't worry about Sasuke genjutsu since he thought it was too weak to even bother being useful

Yea it does. Danzo thought the match was over. He deicded to release Izanagi to save the rest of his chakra against Obito. Takes out Sasuke own weapon, when he has his own, calls him trash, gives him a lesson before he attempts to behead him. He did not have to do all of that to finish the match. Plus gave Sasuke a reason to raise his hatred, to power up. Hmm no wonder Danzo was so confident to reach Sasuke in CQC even after busting Susanoo.

Why would Danzo fight the same way in canon, that a fallacious argument you are making. Except adding another layer isn't going to tank the attack, but only reduce its damage. Except nothing supports Yata shape shifting its size and mass, so no its naturally false to make that claim, especially when manga panels dont support it.

Katon counters Baku, like it did in canon.

Never denied so dont know why repeat it like I didn't address the situation.

Too bad he has no intel on Itachi's Genjutsu prowess here. He has no reason to think of Itachi as any better.

He released it because he thought that Sasuke was completely bound, which was true until he got his power up. That isn't underestimation. Not even close.

Because this is almost the same exact scenario, right down to the letter. Its fallacious to say he'd act any different in a situation than he already did in canon.

@bold: Lol? Adding another layer of Susanoo lets him tank the attack. V4 is much more durable than V3, so if V3 only got a hole in it, V4 takes little to no damage. V4 adds armor to V3 basically, and V4's armor is more durable than v3. No reason to believe otherwise.

Wrong. Manga shows it and DB states it. So it can. Not only is the attack tanked, Danzo gets it reflected right back at him.

Never denied so dont know why repeat it like I didn't address the situation.

Then why was Baku mentioned here at all?

Healthy itachi most likely wins this high diff not low or mid diff as some people think ,itachi 's chakra isn't that great and he will have to kill danzu 12 times and that ofc will take a lot of chakra from itachi
