gaara vs lee: lee's speed & taijutsu was great but still could not make any real damage
gaara vs sasuke: he used lee's speed, taijutsu, and his own chidori to actually do some real damage

what do we learn form this...? sasuke>lee
why? not only does he have most of what lee is capable of (excluding gates) but his sharingan would allow him to keep up with the speed just like it kept up with naruto in kyuubi cloak

sasuke's curse mark was a part of him as much as the kyuubi is a part of naruto.. its nothing but a tool that was both given to them but not really a part of them as something you could say that they were born with. only reason naruto was able to do the things he did that you were talking about, was because of the kyuubi. which is still the case at this point of the manga.

right now lee is capable of opening more gates. how many is unknown, but at that time, he was only able to open 5.. and try to remember that sasuke was able to keep up with & copy lee's movements without 3 tomoe sharingan ------>

Nope, Your logic why Sasuke > Lee is completely stupid.
If Lee Kept up his Taijutsu attacks he would of Broken Gaara's sand armor, even Gaara said his sand could not take much more. Obviously Chidori > Lee's Tai in Damging Gaara because it's design is perfect for countering Gaara's defense.
Gaara was actually Lee's worst match up.

Lee with Gates Totally out matches sasuke In Speed/Tai, Sasuke wouldn't be able to use Ninjutsu efftively because of Lee's Speed, Also This was 3tomoe sasuke Tracking Naruto's Speed.
Were talking about sasuke after Kakashi's Training (Two Tomoe sasuke), If Sasuke was on the receiving end of Gated Lee's attack (the same attacks that Gaara tanked), He would either of died or been out of action for a week or two.

Sasuke Copied Lee's Base speed, When lee opens gate his speed is far above that of sasuke's. While sasuke could most likely Track Lee's base speed with 2Tomoe, I doubt he can Track Lee's gated speed with 2tomoe. (with 3tomoe yes he could).

Remember we're talking about sasuke after kakashi's training, meaning he only had 2tomoe.

try to remember that opening the gates also put a lot of stress on lee's body.. which is why that attack that you say tanked gaara, ended up being a clone. if gaara with normal eyes was able to see an opening to get out out that, don't you think a sharingan would be able to do the same?? lee was also pretty finished after that so i still don't see how he was better when someone without a sharingan was able to find an opening to get out of what use to be a one time only attack for lee

Now you are talking about basic bullshit.

1. He was 12 years old, and had already mastered two nature types, which is pretty good to be an kid. Rock lee won against Sasuke at first, but after training with Kakashi, Sasuke had already surpassed Konoha 11 - and Naruto.

2. That sound guy was adult and sucked up Sasuke's chakra, main reason was to make Sasuke use his curse mark, which he didnt.

3. Eeeh, he saved Naruto from being killed. Haku had kekkei genkai and was pretty skilled adult.

4. He won against Naruto

When you say ''my favorite'' it's kind obvious that you're an hater. Killer bee would win if it was 1 VS 1, but was it that? No, it was Taka VS Killer bee, and Taka is a team so I don't get what's wrong with that.

Mate, I have been one of the few that have always though they were equal. I said he was not that good until he fought Naruto. Fact is, he wasn't..just like Naruto wasn't either. If you disagree, fine..but there's no concrete end to this argument.

Sasuke had Chidori that is perfect for completely bypassing Both gaara's sand defence and his Sand armor, While Lee could only bypass the sand defense while the sand armor makes Taijutsu less effective and basically almost nullifies Tai alone.
Lee only had 50% of what it takes to defeat Gaara (Speed), While sasuke had both parts (Speed and piercing Techs).

Gaara was only able to find that opening after taking quite huge Hits from Lee, Only surviving due to his sand armor, Sasuke doesn't have this sort of defense. This is why Gaara was most likely the only person that could defeat Lee in the Chunin exams
Out of everyone in the chunin exams (Out of the k11) Sasuke was the best suited to fight Gaara.

Lol here are some reasons though.

- Without Sasuke you never would have continued the anime. Don't lie! Sasuke was the only member of the team putting in work besides Kakashi in part 1. Naruto had his moments, but damn it took forever and Sasuke's scenes were just so much cooler. Naruto kept rambling on about being hokage, Sakura was Sakura. What was Sasuke doing? Kicking ass!

- In the beginning of shippuden he just blows everyone out of the water. He blitzes Team 7 with relatively ease and then kills off the main part 1 villian like fodder. We're all like damn why doesn't Kishi just name the show Sasuke already.

- Then after doing some more epic stuff like kicking Akatuski shinobi asses he runs up into the 5 kage summit like a boss. He wanted to kill Danzo but gets intercepted by the kages. Sasuke doesn't care tho he rushes into battle and fights his way through the summit. What a freakin badass. Who else would have done this?


We should all love if not appreciate Sasukes character for bringing flavor/suspense and intensity into this dry manga.
