To start with, I must first make a public apology:
In reference to this thread; I was wrong, and have made efforts to contact the party with whom I disagreed (Azu) an apology. I recommend everyone read the discourse.
This is going to be my last 'large' project for the foreseeable future as I'm moving to destinations unknown and will be without a decent internet-connected keyboard and screen.
Everyone around here should know my views on Islam, however, that does not make me blind or unwilling to uncover the evils within our own nations and governments.

NATO vs Yugoslavia, Over the Moral Event Horizon: 1990-2000
The same pattern of events repeats in Libya as it does for Bosnia and Kosovo.
This is goes beyond 'dirty wars' or 'tough decisions.' This trespasses across the moral event horizon from which there is no return.
I'm running out of time, so I am going to be unable to continue sifting through into more modern developments. Recent revelations are that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated various portions of the Pentagon and U.S. Intelligence sources and have been advising on some of these issues. Brzezinski is a name that rings a bell in my head as being related to previous research I've discussed that indicates the U.S. has in fact been infiltrated by Muslim Brotherhood operatives and has had arms of its foreign policy hijacked to benefit the agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood and by extension Al Qaeda.
Regardless, this is still a product of an out of control government.
For those of you out there who are Americans - these people have not cleared these decisions through Congress since 1980 and, even then, told a flat-out lie that Congress was ill-empowered to detect. They did not ask our parents, they did not ask our grandparents if this was a course of action consistent with America's values and interests of foreign policy.
This is WHY the U.S. Constitution is supposed to place intrinsic limits on the autonomy of government. The government is not SUPPOSED to make quick decisions as this is what happens when it does. It runs completely out of control and becomes unquestionably evil.
The truth about these dealings needs to be carried into every classroom. It needs to be blasted from every television. These are the lessons of history that need to be included in the fundamentals of civics.
If we do not learn the dangers inherent of unconstrained governments with the power and authority to do even a tiny fraction of what they please without monitor - then we leave the future into the hands of those like Secretary of State: Hillary Clinton.

If that is our answer to our own culpability in these events, then woe be to us.
Do not ever be afraid to state what you believe or know to be the truth. Do not be afraid to present facts to a discussion. People may declare you brainwashed. People may shut down and stop listening. In some cases - you may even be wrong, or have an incomplete set of facts, yourself.
But if no one is willing to bring truth to the table, then it is simply a bartering of lies, deceit, and complacency.

In 1928, al-Banna founded the Muslim Brotherhood, a Sunni organization founded upon the ideology that Islam should be given hegemony over all manners of life with the ultimate objective of establishing a vast Caliphate.

Identifying a precise time of when Hitler and al-Banna made contact is not possible with the resources I have available.
However, it is known that at some point in the mid to late 1930s, al-Banna was contacted by Nazi officials. Sources are sketchy on whether this occurred before the Great Arab Revolt of 1936 or afterward.
The story is much more clear in the case of the Grand Mufti of Palestine, Hajj Amin al-Husseini, who was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
In 1933, Hajj Amin al-Husseini relayed to the German consul in Palestine that "the Muslims inside and outside Palestine welcome the new regime of Germany and hope for the extension of the fascist, anti-democratic governmental system to other countries." Following the conclusion of World War II, the Muslim Brotherhood was wanted for war crimes. Instead, however, the British Secret Service hired and protected as many Muslim Brotherhood members as possible, staging them in Egypt. The target for the British Secret Service was the newly founded state of Israel. France, co-opting with this idea, released the Grand Mufti from confinement and planted him in Israel.
The details leading up to the Arab-Israeli war are a fairly deep study and the link I gave at the top of this section contains a lot of the dissertation. However, to quote an effective summary of events directly contributing to the war:
" Without the knowledge of their cabinet, from June 1947 until May 1948 British secret agents conducted their own covert policy. While officially seeking to convince the Arab governments of the importance of concluding defense agreements with Britain to counter the escalating Soviet threat, they secretly instigated an Arab-Jewish confrontation in Palestine to advance Britain’s strategic ends. They sought to use a war in Palestine to deflect the Arab public’s attention from the controversial treaty negotiations; as an incentive for the Arab governments to conclude defense treaties with Britain; to demonstrate to the Arab rulers their countries’ need for military collaboration; to reinforce the Arab states’ military dependence on Britain, while preventing the establishment of a Jewish state or limiting its size.
A war in Palestine would pressure the United States to revise its position on partition. No longer would Zionist propaganda be able to portray the struggle against Britain as that of a national movement fighting to liberate itself from colonial rule. An Arab-Jewish conflict would also validate Britain’s long-held position regarding the solution to the Palestinian problem and demonstrate that, despite its good intentions, it was caught in the middle. Moreover, it would help Britain secure its strategic assets in Palestine: Haifa, with its port and refineries, and the Negev region in the south. "

It's an exhaustive read, but quite detailed.
To sum it all up, Britain spared scores of Muslim Brotherhood operatives from war crimes prosecution and deposited them in Egypt, which ended up being a key actor in the Arab-Israeli war of 1948 as leaders were pressured from popular support for a war against Jews and political pressure from Britain.
The goal of the British was to strengthen their overall position in the region by forcing the Arab rulers into wars to distract from potentially unpopular treaties in Iraq and other locations deemed necessary for proper defense against the perceived Soviet advance. The end result would be that Israeli Zionists would be weakened and less able to resist British military presence, as well as the various Arab nations in the region, which had also been requesting that British soldiers leave the region.
The gambit could arguably be declared a success as the British got their treaties, but military influence in the region cannot be definitively declared stable. It was around this time that the British began cutting ties with the Muslim Brotherhood operatives.

Following the assassination of the Egyptian Prime Minister, the Muslim Brotherhood was outright banned from Egypt. In 1949, the Egyptian government killed the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hasan al-Banna. Egypt began a wide crack-down on Muslim Brotherhood members and leaders.
Gamal Abdel Nasser led a successful revolution in Egypt in 1952 and implemented a more tentative tolerance of the Muslim Brotherhood, which had split into two main fields of thought following the loss of al-Banna. In one field sat those who agreed with Hasan al-Hudaybi, who stipulated that the Muslim Brotherhood should work with the secular government of Egypt to slowly turn it toward the principles of the Muslim Brotherhood. In the opposing field sat Sayyid Qutb, who outright rejected the notion of working with any government that was not in accordance with Muhammad's revelations.
Working in the background during this time, British Intelligence began trading off the old Muslim Brotherhood operatives to the department that would later become the CIA within the United States. A Soviet double-agent by the name of Kim Philby worked to shift these Muslim Brotherhood operatives into the custody of the U.S. The soviet belief was that by getting the U.S. to accept Muslim Brotherhood operatives as reliable actors and contacts within the Middle East would trigger distrust and backlash against the West, capitalism, and Democracy in general.

In 1979, Russia invades Afghanistan. The CIA does an inventory of its assets and decides it is time to employ the operatives they acquired from the British. There is a problem, however; calling them the Muslim Brotherhood will reveal their Nazi relations, and that's unpopular in Congress.
It is of note, here that an interview with Zbigniew Brzezinski, a key strategist and President Jimmy Carter's Security Advisor, that the CIA actually began funding the group as a means to provoke the Russians into military intervention in Afghanistan by inciting the Muslim Brotherhood against the government seat in Kabul.

" “Not so,” says Brzezinski. He confirms what opponents have charged: that the US began covert sponsorship of Muslim extremists five months *before* the Soviets invaded Afghanistan. He says that after President Carter authorized the covert action: “I explained to the president that this support would in my opinion lead to a military intervention by the Soviets.” ... "
The CIA re-brands the operatives as the MAK - the Maktab al Khidimat il Mujahideen and lies to Congress, denying to know precisely who is on the payroll for this coalition. Within this group is none other than Osama Bin Laden, working as an assistant of Abdullah Yusuf Azzam, a key leader from Saudi Arabia. With support from the CIA, the militant group ultimately succeed in driving Russia from Afghanistan with the withdraw of Soviet forces in 1989.
Following the success of the operation, the U.S. began efforts to withdraw the MAK back to Saudi Arabia. This ultimately did not go as planned. The militants did not want to return to Saudi Arabia, and began paying bribes to Bin Laden to remain outside of Saudi Arabia.
This ultimately led to a fissure of the MAK. Bin Laden assassinated his superior, Yusuf Azzam, and declared that those who wished to remain outside of Saudi Arabia were to be called al Qaeda. Roughly translated: "The Foundation."
Al Qaeda's stated objective is likely influenced by Bin Laden's experiences in Afghanistan. The goal of Al Qaeda is to draw western powers like the U.S. into protracted wars into Arab lands where they will be worn down and weakened. After they collapse, like Russia did, then the world would be freed from western powers attempting to intervene in the formation of a Caliphate.
With the fall of the Soviet Union, however, NATO begins to turn its attention to other matters it deems important.

Tracking the maze of history of Yugoslavia's breakup is an entire field of study in and of itself.
However, there is considerable evidence that aspects of the break-up were fueled or accelerated by various NATO interests in an attempt to broker for strategic positions within the former member states.
By the time 1990 rolled around, the U.S. clandestine community was seeing pressure from its Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda operatives placed throughout the Arab world. These organizations required funding and funding them implied sending them to wars they were agreeable to. The issue of Bosnian Muslims during the break-up of Yugoslavia provided a region of employ.
Further, evidence comes from the political arena that the U.S. saw an independent Bosnia as in its interest:

" Specifically, Sherman charged that in 1992 Acting Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger had instructed Warren Zimmerman, U.S. Ambassador in Belgrade, to persuade Bosnian President Izetbegovic to renege on his agreement to preserve Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian unity, and instead accept American aid for an independent Bosnian state.44 "

"... By 1993 these groups, many supported by Iran and Saudi Arabia, were anxious to help Bosnian Muslims fighting in the former Yugoslavia and called in their debts with the Americans. Bill Clinton and the Pentagon were keen to be seen as creditworthy and repaid in the form of an Iran-Contra style operation - in flagrant violation of the UN security council arms embargo against all combatants in the former Yugoslavia. "
The operations began by smuggling arms through Croatia.
To quote, again, from the Guardian article:
" Light weapons are the familiar currency of secret services seeking to influence such conflicts. The volume of weapons flown into Croatia was enormous, partly because of a steep Croatian "transit tax". Croatian forces creamed off between 20% and 50% of the arms. The report stresses that this entire trade was clearly illicit. The Croats themselves also obtained massive quantities of illegal weapons from Germany, Belgium and Argentina - again in contravention of the UN arms embargo. The German secret services were fully aware of the trade. "
Interestingly, this wasn't a CIA operation and was perpetrated largely by the Pentagon under the direction of Zalmay Khalilzad. The involved U.S. forces used their positions within the U.N. monitoring force to conceal the smuggling operation. Later, Arab fighters from Al-Qaeda were flown in, again using the position within the monitoring force to conceal the operation. It is worth noting that blacked-out C-130 aircraft were reported by multiple sources as landing at Tuzla air base; most evidence points to American origins of these aircraft possibly operating under private contract.
These Al-Qaeda fighters began instructing Bosnian muslims in their Islamic teachings and also began operating training camps to form large state militias. This comes to a media head in 1995 with the Serbian attack on Srebrenica in response to strikes from Bosnian muslims originating from the area.

"Between May and December 1992, Muslim forces repeatedly attacked Serb villages around Srebrenica, killing and torturing civilians; some were mutilated and burned alive. Even pro-Sarajevo accounts concede that Muslim forces in Srebrenica…murdered over 1,300 Serbs…and had “ethnically cleansed a vast area.29" "
The media machine, largely American, kicked into action. Reports blasted across American televisions about massive ethnic cleansing perpetrated at the hands of the Serbs. This media narrative was, at best, intellectually dishonest and, at worst, a flat out fabrication.
In the resulting political fiasco, a U.N. conference was convened in London, and the politicians granted themselves and U.N. military command the authority to exercise military force without consulting civilian councils (Congress, Parliament, etc).
Following a highly publicized mortar attack by Serbs, NATO launched Operation Deliberate Force and later stationed troops in Bosnia under Implementation Force and Stabilization Force until 2004 as Operation Joint Endeavor.
To recap:
The U.S. creates a problem by attempting to accelerate the fracturing of Yugoslavia through the use of Al Qaeda militants to provoke Bosnian Muslims. Bosnian Serbs are the targets of aggression by said muslims. Bosnian Serbs retaliate - U.S. and NATO bomb the Bosnian Serbs while painting them as genocidal monsters in the media.
Oh, but it doesn't end there. We've got round 2.
Attention shifted over to Kosovo, specifically, the funding of the KLA - the Kosovo Liberation Army.
To quote from Global Research:

American intelligence agents have admitted they helped to train the Kosovo Liberation Army before Nato’s bombing of Yugoslavia. The disclosure angered some European diplomats, who said this had undermined moves for a political solution to the conflict between Serbs and Albanians. Central Intelligence Agency officers were ceasefire monitors in Kosovo in 1998 and 1999, developing ties with the KLA and giving American military training manuals and field advice on fighting the Yugoslav army and Serbian police.
When the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), which co-ordinated the monitoring, left Kosovo a week before airstrikes began a year ago, many of its satellite telephones and global positioning systems were secretly handed to the KLA, ensuring that guerrilla commanders could stay in touch with Nato and Washington. Several KLA leaders had the mobile phone number of General Wesley Clark, the Nato commander.48 "

"According to former U.S. Army Captain David Hackworth, later Newsweek’s contributing editor for defense, former US military officers in the private U.S. military contractor MPRI (Military Professional Resources Incorporated) not only trained KLA personnel, but even fought alongside them.49 This reinforced earlier reports that MPRI personnel had also been involved in training Croatians at the time of the illicit Croatian arms pipeline to Bosnia.50 "
Now, Private Military Contractors can be employed by customers other than the United States government - but at this point, the only other interested customers would be Al Qaeda as an arm of clandestine foreign policy. So is the the fault of the hand or the glove?
Similar media campaigns ensued when Serbs reacted to attacks on ethnic Serbs in Kosovo. Once again, in 1999, NATO intervened in what was termed Operation Allied Force.
Here, again, the U.S. and NATO create a problem that sets up the Serbs as the primary enemy and then proceeds to destroy their defense assets while the problem NATO and the U.S. created continues to kill said Serbs.
However, there is considerable evidence that aspects of the break-up were fueled or accelerated by various NATO interests in an attempt to broker for strategic positions within the former member states.
By the time 1990 rolled around, the U.S. clandestine community was seeing pressure from its Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda operatives placed throughout the Arab world. These organizations required funding and funding them implied sending them to wars they were agreeable to. The issue of Bosnian Muslims during the break-up of Yugoslavia provided a region of employ.
Further, evidence comes from the political arena that the U.S. saw an independent Bosnia as in its interest:

" Specifically, Sherman charged that in 1992 Acting Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger had instructed Warren Zimmerman, U.S. Ambassador in Belgrade, to persuade Bosnian President Izetbegovic to renege on his agreement to preserve Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian unity, and instead accept American aid for an independent Bosnian state.44 "
To quote from the guardian article:
"... By 1993 these groups, many supported by Iran and Saudi Arabia, were anxious to help Bosnian Muslims fighting in the former Yugoslavia and called in their debts with the Americans. Bill Clinton and the Pentagon were keen to be seen as creditworthy and repaid in the form of an Iran-Contra style operation - in flagrant violation of the UN security council arms embargo against all combatants in the former Yugoslavia. "
The operations began by smuggling arms through Croatia.
To quote, again, from the Guardian article:
" Light weapons are the familiar currency of secret services seeking to influence such conflicts. The volume of weapons flown into Croatia was enormous, partly because of a steep Croatian "transit tax". Croatian forces creamed off between 20% and 50% of the arms. The report stresses that this entire trade was clearly illicit. The Croats themselves also obtained massive quantities of illegal weapons from Germany, Belgium and Argentina - again in contravention of the UN arms embargo. The German secret services were fully aware of the trade. "
Interestingly, this wasn't a CIA operation and was perpetrated largely by the Pentagon under the direction of Zalmay Khalilzad. The involved U.S. forces used their positions within the U.N. monitoring force to conceal the smuggling operation. Later, Arab fighters from Al-Qaeda were flown in, again using the position within the monitoring force to conceal the operation. It is worth noting that blacked-out C-130 aircraft were reported by multiple sources as landing at Tuzla air base; most evidence points to American origins of these aircraft possibly operating under private contract.
These Al-Qaeda fighters began instructing Bosnian muslims in their Islamic teachings and also began operating training camps to form large state militias. This comes to a media head in 1995 with the Serbian attack on Srebrenica in response to strikes from Bosnian muslims originating from the area.

This is goes beyond 'dirty wars' or 'tough decisions.' This trespasses across the moral event horizon from which there is no return.
I'm running out of time, so I am going to be unable to continue sifting through into more modern developments. Recent revelations are that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated various portions of the Pentagon and U.S. Intelligence sources and have been advising on some of these issues. Brzezinski is a name that rings a bell in my head as being related to previous research I've discussed that indicates the U.S. has in fact been infiltrated by Muslim Brotherhood operatives and has had arms of its foreign policy hijacked to benefit the agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood and by extension Al Qaeda.
Regardless, this is still a product of an out of control government.
For those of you out there who are Americans - these people have not cleared these decisions through Congress since 1980 and, even then, told a flat-out lie that Congress was ill-empowered to detect. They did not ask our parents, they did not ask our grandparents if this was a course of action consistent with America's values and interests of foreign policy.
This is WHY the U.S. Constitution is supposed to place intrinsic limits on the autonomy of government. The government is not SUPPOSED to make quick decisions as this is what happens when it does. It runs completely out of control and becomes unquestionably evil.
The truth about these dealings needs to be carried into every classroom. It needs to be blasted from every television. These are the lessons of history that need to be included in the fundamentals of civics.
If we do not learn the dangers inherent of unconstrained governments with the power and authority to do even a tiny fraction of what they please without monitor - then we leave the future into the hands of those like Secretary of State: Hillary Clinton.
To quote Hillary Clinton: "... At this point, what difference does it make?"
If that is our answer to our own culpability in these events, then woe be to us.
Do not ever be afraid to state what you believe or know to be the truth. Do not be afraid to present facts to a discussion. People may declare you brainwashed. People may shut down and stop listening. In some cases - you may even be wrong, or have an incomplete set of facts, yourself.
But if no one is willing to bring truth to the table, then it is simply a bartering of lies, deceit, and complacency.
