It was just an extrapolation to mention the duration time it takes for him to activate the jutsu. He did ask Chouza to stop him before he enters ghost mode, which shows it probably takes some amount of preparation for him to do so

Well obviously he needs a few seconds to activate it, that's why I said he would hide. And apparently Dan is a senor, considering he was able to sense Tsunade's chakra and travel to her very quickly. So Kakashi can't hide from him.

there are many characters wev'e never seen fully go out (healthy Itachi, prime Hiruzen, healthy Kimimaro, etc) people are still dumb enough to use them in vs threads... sadly
