I loved this book, i couldnt stop reading it, no part of it was boring for me. What i liked the most was the symbolism of the Masonic pyramid and how many secrets it held on its own.
What did you guys think?

Yeh it was a bit anoying in parts like what they were striving to achieve and getting to peter, but overall it was one of the best to read.I read it a while ago, so I don't remember much. xd
But compared to Brown's other books, i.e, Angels and Demons, Deception Point, Digital Fortress...I didn't like it that much...
It had Brown's usual elements; the surprises, upbeat...
Perhaps it was the theme/general topic, but I also felt it was kinda slow (lol, I know I just said upbeat, but I felt some parts of the story were given too slowly, to the point where I was annoyed.).
My top two favs of brown are angels and demons, and digital fortress...Lost Symbol was good, but not as good as Angels and Demons or Deception Point.
I didn't even bother watching the entire Angels/Demons film...once i saw the film for angels and deamons it was ruined for me...
Did you not watch the davinci code? I think he did an awesome job of playing Robert in that...My top two favs of brown are angels and demons, and digital fortress...
I didn't even bother watching the entire Angels/Demons film...
The fact that Tom Hanks was playing Robert Langdon had already spoiled my mood to watch it. xd
Ill agree with you on the bolded, i hope the hobbit is the same xdI read angels/demons before watching Da Vinci, so I was so used to Robert's character already. I just didn't picture him like Tom Hanks, or like his acting style.
So when both movies came out, I wasn't enthusiastic while watching...
I guess that's the horrible part about reading something and then watching the movie.
Edit: I bet LOTR could be an exception to that though. ^^
I agree, Robert langdon is supposed to be a 6 foot swim champ built like an athelete. He's so NOT tom hanks. Yeah, and loved the book though it was a little stretched at the end with the whole ominous history of the US capitol and all.Ill agree with you on the bolded, i hope the hobbit is the same xd
Who would you see playing Robert? I got a funny image of keanu reeves, then i realised he only ever has one expression.
xd
I thought the book very very good throughout, although I wasn't a fan of the ending. I prefer Angels and Demons over this one.
My father in law mentioned that this book taked about the symbols within the denver airport, but I dont remember reading any of that. I go through that airport every now and then when I go on ski trips so its fun to looks for that stuff. I've never been to Washington D.C. but now I think it would be cool to check it out and see everything mentioned in the book. FYI, if you are going through security and you see a bronze statue of a man, look about 5-10 feet behind it and you'll see a circle with a pyramid in it on the floor. apparently the airport also has a mason capstone. Theres also many freaky murals around th baggage claim area. Definitly worth going a little early to see all the cool stuff
Yup, I hope Hobbit turns out well.Ill agree with you on the bolded, i hope the hobbit is the same xd
